I hope no one ever trusts this arrogant, unprofessional "doctor" again. Still having back pain after 2016 surgery. Two other orthopedic doctors skirted around saying it was a sorry piece of surgery, but suggested another surgery to fix problem.

Dr Tomecek performed my fusion surgery in March. 2 orthopedic surgeons told me it was my hip causing my symptoms. It was my back. While I am still healing from surgery, I am virtually pain free. I am able to be active when i couldn't move without pain before. Dr Tomecek and his staff are very thorough and attentive. They address questions and concerns promptly. I went to Dr Tomecek because he performed my husband's fusion surgery last summer. We both highly recommend Dr Tomecek.

I went there in Oct. 2014 with pain radiating down my right side from my arm all the way down to my foot. He told my primary doctor that I was faking my pain but would still do MRI and check things out. Next letter was to my primary was I need surgery. I do not like anybody who cannot look me in the eye and talk to me. He could never look me in the eyes. After my husband talked me into getting the surgery Dr. Tomecek said I needed I finally agreed to it. I had a fusion done from T10 to S1. At first I was doing pretty good after the surgery but I then had an accident and fell on my butt about 5 months later and I went down hill after that. My pain was back too extreme and my MRI said that I had loose screws in my lower back and he said there were none so I guess the radiologist that has no clue to who I am lied about what he saw on the MRI. Now I have 2 broken rods and one is bent and more loose screws and again he says there is nothing and the broken rods are not causing me any pain. So what is causing my pain? I refuse to go back to him and 6 yrs. later I found a neurosurgeon who says I have lots of problems going on with my previous back surgery that is causing me lots of pain he just needs to figure out how best to go about fixing my back. He also looks me in the eye when he talks to me. I do not and will not recommend Dr. Tomecek to anybody.

He left me with no quality of life. When I went back to his office after surgery he made fun of the problems he caused me and laughed about it. He is so full of himself that he will not admit when he screws up. One SORRY .....

Worse doctor experience ever! He completely lied about a report for workers comp for my fiancé! Said he couldn’t read an MRI that was taken but yet he based his opinion off the MRI...put stuff in the report that was NEVER even said and didn’t listen to one word that was said to him...stay away from him he obviously is on workers comp side and you will get screwed by him, he doesn’t care about anyone but himself.

We had an appointment waiting for over 60 days. When we arrived for the appointment dr tomecek hadcancelled the entire day with no explanation. Very inconsiderate and not caring.
