this place let my mom's broken hip go for almost 3 days before treatment, resulting in a painful, miserable slow death--the one thing they really excel in

I have been a patient at SFH more times than I can remember. The most memorable stay was in 2013. I was in ICU for 6-7 weeks on a ventilator (induced coma). The nursing staff there was wonderful based on what was told to me. I have been on other floors during other hospitalizations. I agree the rooms could be cleaner and sheets changed daily. If the executives would quit building maybe they could pay higher salaries for house keeping and nursing staff. The nursing staff I've found to be helpful and caring. I also take of myself if I can. I go get my towels and gowns. I feel that as long as I can be on my own I give the time to the staff to tend to sicker patients. I will always use SFH. As for the billing issues I currently have a standing balance and on a payment plan. I could go on about my experiences (ER, ICU, and general floors) but I think you get the picture.

Let my father-in-law get dehydrated while in the hospital causing his BP to drop so low he was unresponsive. Left him sitting in a chair all night with his still broken arm out of the sling. Sent him on to rehab even though his BP was still fluctuating and they had not verified he could walk safely. Rehab center was shocked that he was brought to them in the condition he was in. I wouldn't send my dog to this hospital.

My daughter has had 19 surgeries in this hospital. The doctors are top notch. Staff is top notch! 2nd floor staff not so much on top of things, 8th floor staff is better about their care giving.

Went to ER- put on a bed in hallway for four hours. There 8 days and we're going to let me go without my BP/Heart rate under control. Had to call in the patient advocate and she straightened things out.

Awful, awful, awful experience after winding up at St. Francis with a post-partum hemorrhage. This hospital was unbelievable incompetent every step of the way. I would not recommend this hospital to my worst enemy.

Last two times at St. Francis Hospital I wasn't given the proper care I needed by the nurses after surgery. I ended up in emergency room two days after discharged from hospital. The people in the emergency room didn't seem to know what they were doing. On anther procedure the nurse gave me a medication I was allergic to, after seeing on my chart that I was allergic to it. There were other things but you get the picture.
