For the last 3 months I've had significant pain on the left side of my neck and across the back of my shoulders. I've tried pain and anti-inflammatory medications but without much success.I found the staff at UCC efficient and accommodating. The care I was given was straight forward, prompt with consideration.In a short amount of time my pain was gone. I am now able to work and sleep without pain. Without question I would refer patients to Dr. Gertner for treatment. It has helped me and Dr.Gertner is a fine professional.

For the last 15 years I have suffered with Hip pain, neck pain, allergies and Asthma. In the past I have tried traditional chiropractic, physical therapy and medicine but still suffer horribly. Initially I came into get relief from my hip and neck, but I was pleasantly surprised to see improvements in my asthma and allergies as well. After a short time, I stopped becoming dependant on medication for these health issues. I now am able to live a normal pain free life. Another positive change I have noticed since seeing Dr. Gertner is that I have more body balance. Because of that I have seen huge improvements in my golf swing.

For the past 3 years I suffered from chronic head and neck pain. I was taking Advil everyday in order to be able to function in my work and family life. I saw various doctors including an ENT, dentist, neurologist, headache specialist, traditional chiropractor, acupuncturist and a crania-sacral therapist. None of which helped. I then came to Upper Cervical Chiropractic and saw Dr. Gertner. The staff was always supportive, encouraging and available to answer any questions. They were also compassionate and competent. The treatments were successful. As a yoga instructor, I am now able to do daily activities that I couldn’t do before. The pain disappeared. My energy level has drastically improved. I sleep better at night, and my eating habits have changed. As a result I have lost 7 lbs. because I realize that I was using food to medicate & comfort the pain. Everything I now do is more productive and enjoyable. I definitely recommend anyone to give it a try.

I had headaches for years due to multiple car accidents. Eventually it got so bad that I could not move or hear any noise without in excruciating pain. Basically I lay in bed as my life passed by me, being forced to just “deal” with head and shoulder pain. I have had all sorts of drugs, medications, nerve procedures, and surgeries, nerve end numbing, cervical facet work, you name, I tried it! But nothing was truly working. They might have made me feel better for a little bit, but ultimately the root of the problem was never getting addressed, let alone actually corrected. Since I started care with Dr. Gertner, I am now back to work with NO PAIN, I used to get headaches on a daily basis, and now I rarely get one, I am able to sleep and best of all, I can enjoy my life again!

For the past 10 years I have suffered with very limited range of motion in my neck as well as tender sore spots all along my spine. I also lost a lot of strength in my left hand and arm. My right hip was progressively becoming more painful and I was forced to walk with the help of a cane. Before meeting Dr. Gertner I had gone to three different Neurologists and one acupuncturist. I did not have any relief of symptoms and was feeling very frustrated. Shortly after the other doctor visits I found a flyer that Dr. Gertner had put in the paper and it sounded like it could be the answer. The rest is history… In the past 2 months of treatment I have increased the range of motion in my neck, my spine is no longer sore and the pain in my right hip is gone. I regained strength in my left hand and arm and I am not using my cane. All of this with such a gentle non-invasive procedure. It’s a miracle!

I was a victim of a motor vehicle accident back in 2011 and suffered from 2 herniated discs in my low back, severe neck pain, headaches, and post concussive syndrome. I couldn’t go to work for 6 months which in turn led to me being laid off. I tried EVERYTHING with zero success. I one day was looking in the pennysaver for jobs and I came across Dr. Gertner’s ad and didn’t waste 1 second to call to make an appointment. I was VERY skeptical about the process because he barely touched my neck but couldn’t believe the results after just a few visits. I went from a pain level of 9 to a 3 in under 2 months of care. I was able to find a job and now can enjoy my life again! Not only is Dr. Gertner wonderful but so is his staff! Everytime I’m in the office everyone is so pleasant and accommodating.

DOCTOR (and I use that term lightly) GEORGE GERTNER is a SHAM! He is a great salesman that leaves your mind spinning from all of the garbage he throws out to people. He makes you believe he can "PERFORM MAGIC" with the touch of his finger where all of your pain is coming from. He tries to trick you and then says that it must have been a "misunderstanding" of communication--not on his part, though. People live hours away, then after perfoming his first "miracle cure" on a patient, then tells you that unless you travel twice a week, his "cure" won't work. Well, that means he wants tons of $$$MOOLA. HE IS A JOKE....He has created his office to SHAM PEOPLE OUT OF MONEY.....DO NOT EVER GO TO HIM FOR HELP!

Just echoing the sentiments of several others on this site - I have known Dr. Gertner for several years now through friends and family members that have used him. I knew him when he was just getting started and operating out of a small hole-in-the-wall office and have watched him expand to his new, state of the art office. From day 1 this guy has been motivated by nothing except money - his entire operation is focused on throughout - rushing people in and out of his office as quickly as possible to burn through "visits" that most people purchase as "packages". He literally spends 2 minutes tapping on your neck and you are finished. Never bothers to ask how you feel, if there has been any change, or explain how many treatments you will need - that's because no matter how many visits, it will never be enough - he'll tell you that you need to visit more frequently for the treatment to work - total scam! STAY FAR AWAY - go to PT or real chiropractic that has proven research behind it!

My back went out New Years Eve (2013) Desperate for a chiropractor my wife put a call out for one in the White Plains area. Dr. G saw us 1/2/14, but I had assumed that he was a standard chiropractor. I had never heard of Upper Cervical Adjustments and frankly was quite skeptical. In fact I was contemplating leaving but I bumped into a respected attorney whom I knew. He highly recommended the therapy. Since my wife and I were there we decided to see if it would work. As strange as it sounds, though my pain was in my lower back, after Dr. G adjusted the atlas in my neck, I'd say I was at least 50% better than when I had walked. At my next appointment he and I sat and discussed the treatment & payment. I decided to commit to it. It's been about six weeks of twice weekly adjustments and I feel fantastic. Lower back pain gone. Sleeping better. Noticeable change in my gait/walk & attitude. George is a good man & the staff is A+++. I highly recommend giving it a try.
