It has been 2 years since I started treatment and I’m back where I started. I regret investing $7,000 to just be in constant pain again. I can relate 100% to the review posted May 10, the results don’t last. I was promised a cure of my symptoms yet it was definitely too good to be true.

I was greeted by a friendly lady at the front, Dr was professional and knowledgable and I finally have some relief from my neck and upper back/shoulder pain. They are not the cheapest but the best by far. Worth a try

I would not recommend going to this office, and if you do so - look at other second opinions as well.

After months of treatment, I severely doubt the legitimacy of the practice, and I instead feel duped out of a lot of money. Dr Gertner claimed that the NUCCA method was a very precise method to readjust your atlas, whereas it in fact was very unprecise as there was no metric to assess if my alignment was improving over time. Most days I was rushed in, had a two-minute "adjustment" that consisted of light taps on my neck, and then rushed out. I was rarely asked how I was feeling since the last adjustment. Sometimes, he would check my legs to see if they were in alignment before and after the adjustment to see if it worked, but a majority of the time he didn't. He really had no way of knowing whether it was working, because he rushed me in and out so fast and spent no time asking questions about progress. It also felt very business-like and was not centered around the healing/progress of the patient. At the very beginning, I was shown various packages I could purchase for different amounts of adjustments. This was after a brief assessment of my neck with me and with no way of knowing that his adjustments would work.

At the end of it all, my neck pain and symptoms are probably worse than they were when they started. Whenever I tried to bring it up to him, it was generally dismissed as a normal part of the healing process, and he spent little to no time investigating why I was feeling the way I was.

He and the staff were very courteous. He does a really good job of earning your trust and putting your doubts at ease by claiming he can fix you and your chronic health problems. Now, I can't tell if it was his genuine care for my health or if he was just a charasmatic businessman who knows how to rope people in. As someone who is going through what many of you likely are, having someone promise they can fix you is amazing to hear - but sometimes it is just too good to be true.

I’ve been going to Dr Gertner for over 10 years on and off. He is the only doctor that has been able to alleviate my symptoms. This last time I couldn’t even walk and he was able to get me back and walking without any pain and normal activities. I continue to recommend him to my friends and family. Dave D

I.ve been coming to this practice for 9 years....and the. Maintenance routine of adjustments has helped keep me physically functioning to the best I can be as I have loose pelvic joints and always will. Balance is critical for me....!!

With six herniated and two bulging discs I find myself in need of chiropractic care but worried about the traditional back cracking chiropractor. Dr. Gertner and his work on my cervical spine with gentle movement of my top two vertebrae has been invaluable as part of my pain management treatment. I also have found added benefits of spinal alignment that have included lowering of my blood pressure and other health benefits.

I came into his office with extreme neck pain, migraines, and seizures. I couldn’t function at work anymore without wondering when the next seizure would be. Neurologists and other doctors couldn’t find anything wrong after CT scans, MRI’sand EEG’s. They only wanted to prescribe meds. Dr. G after one visit located the problem in my neck and I haven’t had a seizure since. No more migraines either. I highly recommend Dr. Gertner and his practice.

I came to Dr Gertner after experiencing a year of lower back and hip pain. I also had shoulder pain that had occurred more recently. I tried acupuncture and massage before turning to Upper Cervical Chiropractic. I have been going for treatments for 6 months. The shoulder pain disappeared immediately. The lower back and hip pain have improved steadily to the point that I rarely have pain in those areas. Dr Gertner is a great doctor with an optimistic disposition who inspires confidence in recovery. He really cares about his patients. The office ambiance is very pleasant. I highly recommend Dr Gertner and his team for pain relief.
