Very knowledgeable and explains effects of Diabetes, along with the medications and side affects. Discusses a plan with you and follows up. Goes over AC1 results and is very friendly and professional along with being compassionate. He will help you manage your diabetes and give you meds to help deteriorating organs from the disease and other meds. I lost about 35 lbs from his plan and it helped stabilize my Diabetes better. I then stopped off most medications as it gave me side affects but within a few months have gained it back over the holidays. My sugars are once again going higher on average do will probably go back on meds to help manage it better. Overall quite happy with Dr. Jeffrey Winterstein. It's hard to find a good doctor with all his qualities, knowledge and understanding.

After reading the 30 reviews & rating, I feel I am seeing a different Dr. than the 30 in the ratings. There is no comparison to with my GM's visits. I can talk to my GM like a friend with Dr. Jeff each visit is uncomfortable he doesn't show compassion so I always leave the visit oppressed. He has no patience in comparison to my GM. Logic tells me something wrong in these ratings, 29 of 30 gave a 5 Star for Helpfulness. It's the patient & Dr 2 way rapport that rates here as helpfulness as just Ok. According to these ratings he almost walks on water & that is not realistic. I usually think I have a good feel of what helpfulness aka bedside manner. Maybe I am just getting alot of reproach from him from some off reason.
I can not rate his Knowledge higher than 3 stars as that should be done by his peers & ongoing professional medical training. All I can say is Kudos to you Dr. Jeff for 5 stars across the board, keep up the great work.

He is amazing, He has helped me with conditions outside of my Diabetes where my family doctor was truly failing. In his words is that I needed someone to advocate for me to help my legs. He took that on, telling me he would advocate for me. It took a lot but he got me what I needed. He also manages my Diabetes, always giving me the most up to date medications. He is probably the only doctor I trust completely.

Amazing and brilliant Doctor!!! He has helped me turn my health around when I was in a very dark place and very unwell. I cannot even put into words what he has done for me!! I agree that all doctors should aspire to practice like Dr. Winterstein!! So happy that I am lucky enough to be able to see him. Thank you so much Jeff for all that you do!
