I wasn't overly thrilled with W. Stanton Richardson, M.D.'s communication skills today. I was looking to get information to help my 89 year old mother who is in the last stages of Alzheimer on Hospice and in the care of a lovely facility in North Ridgeville. I wanted to talk to someone about a difficulty I was having, and W. Stanton Richardson, M.D. being the only medical "professional" sitting at the desk, I went to discuss an item with him, to which I was abruptly stopped, told by W. Stanton Richardson, M.D. "I don't want to hear about it, I don't work here". Well, pardon my confusion, you are sitting behind the desk at a medical facility - my bad. I get being in the middle of something that is important to you, we all do it everyday at our own jobs, but please, a little bit of manners would be appropriate. Having never met you before, as it s only the 3rd week for my mother at the facility, I would be led to believe people behind the desk WORK THERE. Shame on you for thinking you could treat people in situations in places like this so poorly. It is my hopes that University Hospitals gives you a conduct class as you were extremely unprofessional and rude.

We switched from the Cleveland Clinic to the University system and Dr. Richardson and I'm glad we did. Everything went well with my visit and Dr Richardson is very knowledgeable and listens well.
