I cannot speak highly enough of Dr Bains. Since seeing her four months ago after a shocking and horrible diagnosis of advanced cancer, she has given me hope. She listens attentively, offers excellent and sound advice, is extremely knowledgeable and skilled at her job, and has an excellent bedside manner. She has saved my life by placing me on a treatment plan that is working. Thank you, Dr Bains, for each and every day I am still alive and able to live my life.

Dr. Bains is excellent and takes the time to thoroughly read the chart, recent results etc before coming into the appt. She also seeks a second opinion from other oncologists when she wants to present options such as an experimental treatment. She takes the time you need to get your questions answered. Although Dr. Bains was wonderful, the receptionist in her office was not and delayed my husband's treatment and through her obstructiveness and pettiness may have caused his poor outcome.

I have had metastatic breast cancer since September of 2011 and at first saw Dr Smiljanic (who is also wonderful) from then until I switched to Dr Bains around late 2012 because of scheduling conflicts on my end. I have been seeing her for just over 5 years. She is absolutely awesome and I look forward to having her back from maternity leave soon! I have not been happy with her replacement.... Dr Bains is caring, compassionate, intelligent, friendly, knowledgeable, and an all around wonderful doctor. I always gush to people about how happy I am to have her as my main oncologist. She makes sure all tests are done and on time, and she is quick to put my mind at ease, she will even call me when she knows I need to hear her reassuring words. I truly believe that I am still here after all these years because of the fabulous care I get from Dr Bains, Dr Smiljanic, Dr Avanassian, and all of the team at Lions Gate Hospital Oncology.

Dr. Bains has treatet my bladder cancer in 2017. She has been extremely easy to talk to, is very caring, helpful and professional. I would highly recommend her.

I have been seeing Dr. Puneet Bains for the last couple of years with my stage 4 lung cancer. She is straight forward, kind, excellent at the job, and very knowledgeable. I always leave her office with HOPE and here I am today a Stage 4 Tumor in my right lung which is inoperable but I am still alive and having a very active life. I get comment after comment how wonderful I look for someone in my health but it is due to Dr. Bains' great attitude that keeps me going and on the right track. Thank you Dr. Bains for being a wonderful part of my Medical Team!!!

Dr. Bains took care of my mom when she was diagnosed with colon cancer. By the time my mom was diagnosed her cancer was very advanced but Dr. Bains gave her excellent care. Our family appreciated her very much and my mom liked her so much.

I feel truly blessed to have met Puneet. She is very caring and I feel like I can talk to her and that she truly cares. I actually look forward to our appointments. I can't imagine the pain and suffering she sees everyday, yet still every time I see her she never seems burnt out. I have seen a lot of doctors throughout my treatment, and must say she is one I would highly recommend to anyone
