My first visit with Dr Cusimano was extremely helpful.
Dr Cusimano explained my problem in detailed taking all time necessary to make sure that I had exhausted all my questions and concerns that I had.
I feel much more confident on the upcoming operation that he will perform to remove the benign tumour on the pituitary gland

On May 10, 2018 I had an Ganglioglioma extensive Brain Surgery by Dr. Cusimano and his Team , they saved my life!
Dr. Cuismano spends quality time with every patient…if you need to wait sometimes in the waiting room he is worth waiting however long it takes for your appt. I met with another surgeon in Hamilton and I couldn’t place my life in his hands ( zero bedside, etc) and request another option in Toronto.
From my first time meeting him, I felt the caring, knowledge, expertise, etc. He is my “ Hero”!

The office admin has been unreachable by phone for the entire month of January. They left their out of office message enabled on their phone for an extra 20+ days after they said they would be returning (Jan 5).

As a result, their voicemail inbox is completely full and you cannot leave new messages.

The best interaction/appointment all around I have ever had with a specialist in my life has been with Dr. Cusimano. I only had 1 appointment with him many years ago and will never forget it. All the specialists I have interacted with (except for 3) were cold, arrogant, unhelpful and became annoyed and stopped answering my important and intelligent questions once I had asked 3 questions (seems as though that is their threshold). Dr. Cusimano let me ask all my questions without interruptions, was extremely caring, empathy, knowledgeable and kind and he made me feel less stressed in what was for me a very stressful appointment (I hadn't slept for 2 months prior to my appointment due to severe anxiety). God bless him!

Wish I could rate him higher, this man saved my life! In 2008 he removed my tumor, my family, to this day ask how I went into this head on (literally), his knowledge, patience, bedside manor, everything made me feel so comfortable and in the right hands. With his help I was able have many years and more to come! St. Mike's being a teaching hospital...I can only hope that many students have picked up as much as they can from him!
