I met Dr. Mastenko over 4years ago for counseling after dramatic tragedy in my life. A wonderful caring doctor who really cares about his patients and supports them. She helping me to go through hard ways in my life, thank you very much for supporting and helping me. I have been seeing this doctor for 4 years. She really helped me out and, in my opinion, truly wishes all the best for hear patients. Her care, treatment and professionalism turned my life around. Although, she can be strict and blame stuff on her patients, but that is nothing compared to her competence and genuine desire to care for and help people. The staff is friendly, but they can create problems like when the secretary told my mother about a change of appointment and my mother forgot about it because of which I came to the original date and was told I had to pay the 150$. After a couple of weeks of arguing between me, staff, and the doctor they lifted the charge. Sadly, the incompetance of the secretaries did create problem between me and the doctor, and it created an obstruction to my treatment.

Entire office - absolute disaster! From secretary to the doctor. Your health and well being - last thing they care about! Had to complain to CPSO.

Was her patient for over 7 years and had to cancel appointment just once - they demand penalty of $150 before re-scheduling and giving me new prescription for medicine i depend on very much - withdrawal provokes strong side effects like lack of coordination, nausea, headache, severe disorientation and fatigue and this is how I feel without the medication right now!
Stating obvious, the withdrawal may lead/ leads to severe exacerbation of the condition.
I believe that the behavior is unethical, contrary to the medical values and beliefs, dangerous to patients and simply inhuman.

I'm long time (7 years) patient of dr. Matsenko and taking medications with very strong withdrawal effect which appears within 24-48 hours after medication wasn't taken. I had an extreme working emergency just once and wasn't able to come to the scheduled appointment and they refused to re-schedule new one up until I pay penalty of $150 and left me with no medicines! Tried to find out whether the doctor is treating a particular disorder. The staff was rude, promised to call back, never did. After i had to call and remind, got a rude response saying that the doctor is not taking any patients ever at all (cant reproduce the hidden message sent by the voice of a receptionist but it basically tells you: we dont care about you, we will ignore you, you are nothing). Basically the doctor ( if she cares) is not only losing patients thanks to her receptionists style, but builds a certain reputation for herself for not disciplining them properly. will spread the word.

Doctor Matsenko is very knowledgeable and caring person. She helped me to get rid of depression, when other doctors couldn't even tell what was wrong with me.
I am very greatfull for her help.
She is a very good specialist and has great personality.
I'm very happy with the treatment result.
