Dr. Shoman saw my son regarding persistent middle ear infections and subsequently inserted myringotomy tubes. He has an amazing bedside manner with children and could not have been more patient with answering questions, etc. He spoke to each parent in the pre-operating room prior to and immediately after completing each procedure to reassure the parents that everything had gone well. I rated his punctuality as a 4 as he was running a bit late at both the clinic at RUH and the day of the surgery; however, I appreciate him having taken adequate time with each patient to ensure that their questions were answered and that they were feeling comfortable. Absolutely fantastic - we are so fortunate to have Dr. Shoman in Saskatoon!

Saw him today with my wife who has been absolutely struggling with her hearing for over twenty years. True gentleman. He explained things to us that no one has ever explained. She cried at home when she came back with hope. Absolutely great.

My experience with Dr Shoman was excellent. I have been dizzy for a very long time and he was the one that truly listened to me and was determined to help me. He was very caring and compassionate, and that in itself was very comforting.

Waited six months to set an appointment. Finally was able to see him. The appointment lasted less then 5 minutes. Was very rude and made me feel rushed. We're still waiting to make an appointment for testing.

I saw Dr Shoman for a second opinion of my hearing. I have been losing my hearing for 2 years. I was very impressed with his manner and calm approach. He is warm and personable, never condescending. I eventually had surgery and during this process he was extremely reassuring and there for me whenever I needed him. From my experience, he is also an excellent surgeon.

He has been great all along, and even called me at home to check on me and tell me my test results. I found him very easy to talk to and a really caring doctor. I am waiting for my surgery but I heard great things and feel I am in good hands.

Extremely happy with my exprience. He explained things well. He is a very nice doctor, and the best part is that I understand now what my hearing problem is and what my options are.

Dr Shoman is a great doctor. He is wonderful with children. We are seeing him to fix a mistake made by another Sask doctor that took away over half of my daughter hearing. Shoman is very good at what he does. I have total faith in him. And that is a lot as most Sask doctors should not be practicing medicine.
