The first thing Dr. Morris asked me at my first appointment was what 3 things did I want to know before I left that day. I knew right then that I was in good hands. Dr. Morris is thorough, honest and incredibly skilled.

DR. MORRIS, Is one of the most kind and caring Doctors i have had, always had ear trouble since I was a child, Dr. Morris if very kind , he tells you what he's doing to your ear, and answers all questions, we fully Respect and Like him, very down to earth, I Thank you Dr, Morris for all you did for me, and for Carla who sets up appt. she has a big heart, and helped me a lot, BIG THANK YOU TO Carla, for all your help, God Bless you all. - Bonnie & Roger

The most helpful and knowledgeable physician I’ve been referred to. My initial issue was tinnitus but after a hearing test it became exceedingly clear that I needed hearing aids. I did continue to have some ear pressure but a few visits later Dr. Morris put a tube in my ear. I now feel so much better. I felt so comfortable as a patient and Dr. Morris assured me that if I had any questions I was welcome to call. A shout out to Carla, she’s so very helpful.

Simply the best. Has been a gift to myself and my family over these past 18 years that I've been seeing him. There is no other Dr anywhere I'm more confident in. He is the rare breed of top notch clinical skills combined with an incredible bed side manner and personality. When he leaves the room, every resident, fellow, nurse, etc is quick to speak on how great he is to work with, and how lucky we are to have him in this area. None better.

I had a consult for stapedectomy surgery yesterday with Dr. David Morris. It turned out that I am not a candidate for this state of the art surgery. I felt good when I left this appointment however, because Dr. Morris spent time explaining to me why he didn't feel that this type of surgery would help to improve my hearing overall. Dr. Morris (who also teaches his craft to new surgeons) explained that while this surgery might improve the hearing loss in my right ear of the lower frequencies, I might risk losing my better hearing in the higher frequencies. This would be a real loss, because I now understand that higher frequency hearing helps us with diction ... and most of my hearing loss problems centre around not being able to hear people speaking. I very much respected the fact that
Dr. Morris carefully considered all options and was able to say that he would not have this surgery himself either because there was too much of a risk that he's lose the good hearing he still had. Dr. Morris explained too that even with the best stapedectomy results, I'd still need a hearing aid at least for my left ear if not both. I now feel confident that well programmed hearing aids are the best option for me. And let me add too that all of the staff at Victoria General Hospital were wonderful to me yesterday. Special thanks and kudos as well to Carla, Dr. Morris's kind and knowledgeable (and funny!) administrator and also to David, their wonderful, competent audiologist. All together, a very pleasant experience and one that again has made me very thankful for our wonderful healthcare in Canada. Cheers all!

I am a student who worked with Dr. Morris, and I can guarantee you that he is as wonderful to his students as he is to his patients. He taught me more in a single hour than many managed to do in months. Such a lovely man and really cares about patient comfort and involvement.

I don't know what I would do about my ear if it wasn't for the great knowledge and expertise he has.He is very kind and gentle
