He just may be, as is his reputation, one of the best knee replacement surgeons in the world. Before surgery, I could not walk without pain for even a very short distance. Post surgery, I can now walk pain free for as long as I want to. If you need knee replacement surgery, see Dr. Booth.

Dr Booth performed a revision on my right knee in 2016 stating that my present knee hardware was taken off the market for redesign so the maker could not be sued. Pain and swelling had dogged me for about 5 years. The first was never right. But shortly after Booth replaced that knee my pain became unbearable . Long story short , in February of 2018 an xray done in his office indicated a loose femoral stem ..nothing was said to me . He subsequently ordered a bone scan . When I saw the scan I was told that most of the time the Dr sees things differently and another scan was ordered and more blood work and 23 physical therapy visits . " Don't worry go to Ireland " things are fine. Then I got my chart or I thought it was mine until it was not. His office had given me someone else's chart . A Joanne M Daniels. HIPPA Hippa .. anyway when I did finally get my chart it was pretty enlightening....I was put in the WHEEL
That said I stayed in touch with the good Dr until he came clean and mentioned several DOCS for a second stating " Sometimes another surgeon can see things that the actual surgeon might miss. I don't know a lot but 2 bone scans and 3 xrays that all say the same thing is pretty telling. So Dr Booth suggested an ortho surgeon in Manhattan . Needless to say I passed on that. This went on for about a year . It's sad when you place yourself in a physician's care and then feel like you have been screwed. Maybe it had to do with ratings that he did not want to fix my problem of a loose femoral stem
I guess I will never know.
