I had a double mastectomy with Dr Pyke through the public system. I honestly feel so lucky. Not only is he a genuinely nice man who explains things really well, my surgery results are better than anyone could hope for - both aesthetically and functionally.
I remember saying to him last year my main concern was function and getting back to swimming. Well he gave me exactly that. I'm 5 weeks post radiotherapy and got back in the water today. I have my full reach, my technique is not compromised and it was pain free. Thankyou so much Dr Pyke for helping me kick cancer to the kerb without losing quality of life. He should get 6 stars

Dr Pyke is a professional doctor, dedicated, well knowledge and very friendly. He performed a hard and complicated surgery on my wife twice and saved her. I’ve seen Dr Pyke for over 4 years now (2 surgeries with annual follow ups). Every doctors or nurse that sees my scar comments that they knew it was from him because it is so neat. I don’t normally review doctors but I saw his rating was not 5/5 on here so I had to add my weight. He is amazing, kind, knowledgeable & great at what he does- definitely the guy you want on your medical team.

Dr Pyke is in a league of his own for his compassion, humility, knowledge and skill in surgery. He is truly a role model in the medical community. After an incorrect diagnosis from 5 GP's and 2 other surgeons calling for emergency surgery but unable to provide me with clear evidence and reasoning as to why, Dr Pyke provided me with clinical studies, evidence, reason, logic and spent the time required to explain his recommendation. Ironically his recommendation was surgery was NOT at all necessary. He understood and had information on the nuances of the challenging condition he was dealing with in ways the others surgeons did not. This has obviously had a very positive impact on my life. Regardless of what the future may bring he has my complete confidence and for any woman with breast or thyroid issues, I would not go anywhere else.
