I have all the confidence in the world in Dr. Chui’s expertise. What I can’t tolerate is an already packed waiting room with standing room only when I arrive for my appointment. What should take about 90 minutes is stretched into 3-4 hours!! It literally takes your entire day… I’m looking for a new specialist.

I am type 1 diabetic. I was a patient of Ian Begg for 25 years. Dr. Chui was his chosen replacement. She is very focused, above and beyond common care. The office has transformed recently to a great efficiency. I feel privileged to be a patient.

I highly recommend Dr. Chui. My parents are 80+. She flies in to Cranbrook to take care of both of them and their macular degen eyes. Otherwise, I would need to drive them to Calgary or Kelowna each month. Thank you for the service!

I got in as a fit in .. my eye started bleeding. The staff were nice and caring. So efficient. Glad I was seen… waited 2 hours. Better time than the ER. I hope we don’t lose these doctor.

I have been to Dr Chui as she was taking over for Dr Ian Begg, who I was a patient of since the 90's.. i trust her implicitly with my eyes and she tells it like it is. The aging population is putting a demand on her specialty but its not her fault. - she sees everyone she can fit in.

Dr. Chui is like good food. Worth the wait if you have a true eye emergency. She’s a machine. There are so many people who need help. I always find I get nicer care when I am nice to the staff. They are willing to show up to work and then work hard. These days, it’s a rarity.

I go to Dr. Chui for my eyes diabetes for a long time. I trust her. She tells you exactly what you need to do, to stay healthy. I thinks she is the hardest working doc.

For my appointing this year, her new office staff are very good. I think every body is new … it’s like a new fresh air. They are helpful and nice. Appointments still are 2-3 hours of waiting for testing and then seeing Dr. Chui — pro is that all tests are done on one day. Con is expensive parking in parking garage. Broadway and skytrain construction makes gettin there hard.

New office helpers are good. Big improvement in attitude!

Money grabbing office, this lady doesn’t care about her patients, only the money. The wait time is over 2hr every time, very rude toward mandarin speaking patients, DON’T come here if there’s another choice!

I bring my mom to this doctor for her diabetic retinopathy. Every time we visit it would take 3 hours for the appointment to finish. The last time was the worst, they cancelled our appointment the day before and said the reasoning was there wasn't enough patients booked for that day so the doctor won't be in. I'm sure this doctor is qualified and knowledgeable, but I don't think she cares about the patients. Only cares about how many people she can get through in a day to make it worth while.

Will try to find another doctor that cares.
