Reassuring probably will be doing a stress echo soon

At the request of my GP, I recently had to undertake a stress test at RUH and Dr. Pylypchuk was the attending internist overseeing the exam. Dr. Pylypchuk is extremely kind, and it was evident from the start of the consult he was authentically interested in my wellbeing. I’m fortunate that not much fazes me, but hospitals and any medical tests make me anxious – Dr. Pylypchuk recognized this and his engagement and conversations throughout the exam certainly helped. He articulated the results of the test in a clear and concise manner, and I left feeling much better about my situation. Thank you Dr. Pylypchuk!

Also, full credit to the tech who was doing my test and team at the RUH Non–invasive Cardiology unit -they are true professionals and we are fortunate to have them in Saskatoon.

He is a brilliant physician. Not only his bedside manners are nice but he also knows what he is talking about. Highly knowledgeable and has a very kind nature. Listened to all my questions with patience, even the stupid ones. And thank heavens that he took me as his patient.

I have been in the emergency room twice in the last six months, and Dr. P has been incredibly knowledgeable, comforting, and kind. I'm never overly excited to have doctors run tests on me, but with Dr. P, it is almost enjoyable to have him around and converse while diagnosing my issue. He was even able to phone my mom and describe what was happening in ways that were understandable and reassuring for her, which no doctor has been able to do before. Great doctor, with a very bright future.

I met this doctor last night in the trauma room for a cardiology consult. He is one of the most kind, compassionate doctors I have ever met. I was a little leary of being shocked a 2nd, and then a 3rd time, but I was more confident that I was in good hands. Shortly afterwards I was packed up, and sent to the cardiac icu. There needs to be more doctors like Dr. Pylypchuk.
