I have been his patient for 3 years, and I am actually happy that he is my doctor. That first day I arrived so scared, but when I left his office I was calm, I knew that I could fight my illness and that things were not as I had imagined. I love her kindness, I love that she knows how to listen and she doesn't seem like a
rude person, who does not feel empathy with his patients, on the contrary, this is what one needs from his primary doctor.

I have been lucky to have this Dr. for a little while. I find him friendly and professional. Our appointments both in person and by phone have run mostly on schedule and his new location on Dominion is pretty good with metered parking.

Dr Telio saved my life, and he was very honest during treatment because he said every cancer is different so the outcomes are different. I am very grateful for all the support I received.

Dr.Telio has been very informative and fully explained every issue as they arose; from side effects to alternate treatment. His knowledge of cancer is extraordinary As a lay person we must rely on those, with knowledge and experience.

He is extremely rude, and had no emotional intelligence.

Dr. Telio and the Burnaby Hospital Cancer Clinic staff are beyond helpful, attentive, and knowledgeable. I came in for my first chemotherapy infusion quite frazzled and unprepared and both the pharmacy and Dr.Telio were able to help right away, and I left the appointment quite the opposite of the way that I came; feeling heard and well cared-for. I don’t just feel like a numerical digit popping in and out of their appointment calendar, it’s like my own personal situation and requirements are being assessed and met with great care.

Dr. Teloi has been really kind, caring and extremely knowledgeable to me my, family and my friend through our cancer experiences. I had hodgkin lymphoma (blood cancer) stage 3 and I was really scared but he made me feel like there was hope. After undergoing the treatment plan he put forward I am now cancer free! Also my friend was diagnosed with testicular cancer and dr. Teloi cured him as well. My father was also diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer that spread to both sides of his liver and unfortunately wasn’t able to save him but did prolong his life so that we got more time to spend together. Cancer killed my dad not Dr. Teloi. He actually gave us more time together. Through both me and my dad’s experience with Dr. Teloi he was very kind and thoughtful. A couple of times I had issues (pain, muscle cramping)and he had me come in with no appointment so I was understanding when he was a few minutes late when I did have an appointment. I understood that he’s a busy guy (saint) trying to save lives! I’m extremely great full that he ended up being our oncologist and saved my life!!

He rushes you the entire appointment, then dismisses everything you tell him, and does not help at ALL. The worst.

It is about 2 years that Dr. David Telio is my Dr.
He is very kind and his knowledge is very good .
I realy afraid when I understand that I have blood concer but doctor david reduced my worry because I understand that he do his job very well I believe on his knowledge.
