After the retirement of our previous pediatrician, finding a suitable replacement for our two sons was a daunting task. We visited several pediatricians in town but struggled to find one who was both professional and knowledgeable, until we found Dr. Jennifer Mackey.

Dr. Mackey works at a walk-in clinic, but upon hearing our story, she graciously agreed to take on the care of our sons. Since then, we've visited her numerous times for various medical concerns, and each visit has been a testament to her exceptional care and expertise.

Dr. Mackey exemplifies what it means to be a thorough and attentive pediatrician. Despite English not being our native language and sometimes struggling to describe symptoms clearly, Dr. Mackey patiently listens and asks questions to ensure she fully understands our concerns. This level of understanding and patience is truly commendable and has made a world of difference in our experience with her.

She conducts detailed physical examinations and if necessary, doesn't hesitate to order additional tests, all while reminding us to consider any psychological pressure our children may be under during their illness or while awaiting test results.

What truly sets Dr. Mackey apart is her willingness to spend the time necessary to fully understand our concerns. Not every pediatrician possesses this level of dedication to their patients, and we are grateful to have found such a compassionate and skilled physician.

In summary, Dr. Jennifer Mackey is a knowledgeable and professional pediatrician who approaches her practice with meticulous care. She is patient with her patients and instills confidence through her expertise and thoroughness. We feel fortunate to have her as our sons' pediatrician.

I must also commend her assistant, Sherry (apologies if misspelled), who has always been accommodating and organized whenever we've contacted the office. Her friendly demeanor adds to the overall positive experience of visiting Dr. Mackey's practice.

Dr. Mackey is the ABSOLUTE best doctor I have ever met. I have taken my children to her for walk-in appointments several times. During the pandemic, our regular pediatrician was not seeing us in person but Dr. Mackey always did and made me feel like we could count on her even when the world was in chaos! She investigates issues thoroughly and takes her time to get to the bottom of things. My son had a major surgery at 6 months old after an undiagnosed issue since birth so I have health related anxiety (that something will be missed again). Dr. Mackey makes me feel comfortable that she will not miss anything and I trust her expertise. She’s even given me tips on reducing my anxiety. She has taken the time to call us and thoroughly follow up regarding blood work results etc. She is so kind, understanding and an expert at what she does. I think she might be a walking angel! But seriously, she’s helped me tremendously in reducing my anxiety in that I feel my children are in the best hands with her. I wish she’d open her own practice and take us on as clients but as long as she’s at the walk-in, I will take my kids to her before anyone else!

All I can say is WOW. Doctor Mackie is hands down the most kind, genuine, caring doctor I have ever encountered. She will go above and beyond to help you and really takes the time to understand your situation. I’m just disappointed we didn’t meet her sooner!!!

Dr. Mackey is wonderful. Trust all of her good reviews! She's down to earth, doesn't rush you, friendly, genuine. After dealing with misdiagnosis for our 7 month old daughter for MONTHS, she knew that it was something very simple and explained it to us.
Love her. I wish she had her own practice and didn't only do walk ins but she's still amazing and I'd take my daughter to her over anyone else. Thank you Dr. Mackey, you're awesome.

Dr Mackey is amazing! She went above and beyond for our son, when he had a sliver in his elbow that caused a skin infection . She came in on her day off to double check his arm swelling was going down, sent him for X-rays as extra precaution and then again, met with us a third time to make sure everything was ok! I have never felt more comfortable having her care for our son!

Dr Mackey is by far one of the most trusted paediatricians I’ve ever encountered. She is amazing and goes above and beyond. My daughter has been seeing her off and on for 5 years. She is very smart, dedicated and not afraid to admit she doesn’t know what’s going on and send for a referral and help you figure it out. She saw me through a very bad sickness with my LO when she was just 2. She was so dedicated to helping.
