Dr Amirjani maybe arrogant like some people are saying, but I see her as a straight talk doctor, concerned about your health. I visited her this month, June, 2022, it was my second visit. Yes she asks questions and she listens which any doctor should do before treatment to diagnose the medical problems correctly. For me her first diagnoses was ignored by my physician and even the Neurologist I was referred to. I have been given a bunch of pain pills instead and my body is getting worse. Dr Amirjani was so unhappy finding out her diagnoses was ignored because I was now getting worse. She then diagnosed me with carpal tunnel syndrome and many other joint and muscle issues including brain that need to be attended too which is out of her specialty. I know I felt she was rushing against time, but I really appreciate her honesty as a doctor and I wish she was my physician. Dr Amirjani is a great EMG doctor, I would recommend her to anyone.

I had to have an EMG test. My family doctor gave me a few option to chose, but said that Dr. Amirjai is the best and is the EMG queen. I took my doctors advice, and was super impressed. The doctor explained the process very well in plain language. It was a very informative appointment. God bless.

Very knowledgeable and thorough doctor who noticed a problem with one of my blood tests, two years ago. My family doctor did not think the issue was important. Dr. Amirjani draw our attention to it. It turned out to be the beginning of a blood cancer. I have been treated by a hematologist since then, and I am still kicking and alive, thanks to Dr. Amirjani. Highly recommended.

I had to have an in-person appointment during the pandemic for a nerve study test. I was very anxious at first. The doctor was very calm and polite and understanding, with excellent bedside manners which really calmed me down. She was generous with her time and did not rush me through the appointment. She was noticeably skillful, and came up with an accurate diagnosis that totally made sense. My issue has since been fixed because she guided my family doctor through the treatment protocol. I have since recommended her to a few of my coworkers and friends.

This was the only specialist who saw me in person during the pandemic, after I had a few other phone assessments with other specialists with no success. It was a breath of fresh air, and a successful visit. I am forever grateful.

For several years my symptoms were brushed off as fibromyalgia by several neurologists and rheumatologists. I saw Dr. Amirjani for a completely different reason. I told her about my "fibromyalgia" symptoms too. She listened intently and asked a lot of questions about my symptoms. She examined things that no other specialist had ever checked, and concluded right away that I have a rare muscle disease. She ordered a gene test, and it confirmed her diagnosis down to the gene!. I am beyond satisfied, because my other doctors now know that my symptoms are not just in my head. Also, because of this definitive diagnosis, I now qualify for disability coverage. I think it would be fair to say that a doctor that diagnoses a very rare hereditary muscle disease right away that no one else figured out, is indeed a rare find.

My orthopedic surgeon insisted on getting the opinion of Dr. Amirjani, although I had the nerve test done by another doc. She certainly lived up to her good reputation, as I had a reference point to compare. My jaw dropped how much more proficient and thorough she was in her tests and assessments. She proposed a very clever management plan which my surgeon and I loved it. I can't thank my surgeon enough for getting her involved in my care.

She doesn't care. She has an empty office because she's empty herself.
I dont care what degrees you have, respect everyone!
She told me nothing was wrong with me. Went to another doctor I found out I needed surgery. This doctor told me Amirjani is known for mis diagnosis and makes people wait months!

Your degree is just a piece of paper, your education is seen in your behavior.

USA muscular dystrophy association recommended Dr. Amirjani to me as one of their neuromuscular disease expert doctors (she is not a pain doctor or physiotherapists as this website says). I was diagnosed years ago with CMT which is a nerve disease and told it was not treatable. My condition was worsening so I asked to be referred to Dr. Amirjani. She did comprehensive assessment and proved that I don't have CMT! She recommended MRI for multiple sclerosis, which showed a dozen MS spots in the brain. I am now treated for MS and am much better. The visit to Dr. Amirjani changed my life.
