Dr. ford is excellent. I had braces done by Dr.ford. He is a perfectionist and his prices are very fair. In addition, he is a real nice person. His staff are knowledgable & nice.

Went to see Dr. Ford and was told to find another orthodontist because I asked for a lead apron during the xrays. There were aprons hanging behind the door, but I was told "we don't use them." I've been a radiographer for 15 years and have never refused to shield anyone. I was hoping to find out when my child could get braces, but I won't be taking them to Dr. Ford. He may very well be an awesome orthodontist. However, seeing all the pictures of kids in his office makes me wonder how many of those kids got xrayed and weren't protected. Please make your own decision about using this doctor. Just know that your children won't be protected from radiation when they have their xrays. Yes, it's a panorex xray which is not as much radiation as a chest xray,but radiation is cumulative. A little today and a little every 3 or 6 months adds up. Make your own decision.

Dr. Ford is awesome and so is his staff. He knows exactly what he is doing and he knows how to put you at ease. He answers all your questions and also questions that you haven’t thought of asking. I would certainly recommend him to ANYONE who is considering getting braces. =) *I get my braces off this week...I'M EXCITED* =)
