Dr. Unger took care of my mother-in-law on her last day with us. She was an excellent, compassionate doctor, very helpful, and she explained everything slowly, in a way we all understood. She even called the day after the passing to offer condolences and answer any other questions the family might have.
The overall experience at the Brantford hospital was awful.... no rooms, halls filled with people on beds, short staffed - it basically stripped the dignity away from my monther-in-law on her dying bed. But for the care of this wonderful doctor and two other staff nurses who gave us comfort and care when we needed it most.
Dr. Unger earned a special place in our hearts and we thank her for being so kind and helpful. Hippocrates would be proud and happy.

I was having severe pain in my eyes, she was Very throughout in her exam and history taking and really wanted to find out what my issue was. One of the best ER doctors I've seen

If I could give no stars I would. She blamed verything my son was going through on anziety mother instincts knew better and we took him to REAL medical professional in Hamilton where he was found to have a serious condition which result in him having immediate surgery which if held off for even a day longer he would not be with us here today SO THANK FOR REAL DOCTORS AT HAMILTON GENERAL!

I've seen Dr. Unger a few times in the ER (enough that she remembers me anyway). She is always pleasant, friendly, and straightforward. She always assures me that coming in was the right thing to do, even if it turns out to be nothing; I never feel like I'm wasting her time. Not only has she helped me with whatever I'm in for, but she takes the time to ask about and discuss my health as a whole, including chronic illnesses I'm not even in for! If she ever starts a family practice, I want to be first in line.

I saw Dr. Unger in emerg today at the BGH. She came up with a great plan to treat my medical condition and gave clear, concise advice, taking her time to explain everything to me. She has a wonderful bedside manner.

Dr Unger was very informative in Emerg the night I was in so much pain She showed my husband and me my x-rays and suggested I ask my family doctor about a procedure( kyphonplasty) for my back problem I spoke to my family doctor and he set me up with the specialist in Hamilton who does this procedure
I am so looking forward to this
