Excellent doctor but unfortunately one receptionist is ver rude 😔

Dr, Hamlet is a fantastic doctor. I have been with him almost 30 years. He has always provided an empathetic ear and sound advice. Prompt referrals, even personal calls during hospital stays and after surgery to check up on me. Always get calls back to me, even after hours from him or secretary to address concerns. Thank you Dr. Hamlet for your excellent care!

This man has been my Dr since I was a Child, I’ve experienced him make RACIST & Anti-Semitic comments.Furthermore I had a stroke a few years back and asked to see a therapist, he laughed in my face before giving me the requisition. As for his staff I find that racist BLACK receptionist he has to be far worse than the WHITE European woman since race matters do much to them.

I have been a patient almost 30 years. I love this man. He’s never prescribed the different narcotics I see mentioned. He’s always been empathetic and kind. He’s patient and understanding. He’s busy, most dr’s are due to shortage of dr’s.

I was injured at work had surgery on my leg was told I was always gonna have pain for the rest of my life Dr hamlet was my doctor for 30 years he prescribed me pain meds 120 tabs a month for 2 years then on one visit he decided to cut me off and was told to try methadone I told him you should take it now I'm forced to buy pills on the job so I can work and provide for my family just for the record I have never taken more than 4 percocets a day I don't drink nor smoke nor ever done Street drugs I know patients that see him that have no pain issues and sell there pain meds every month

I am so sad and shocked by some of these comments. Since the beginning of his practice he has been noted for not arriving on time but that's usually because he's He's always been kind and sensitive. In 2018 my son's father had been brought in with a heart attack and he noticed us on the board he came over to see if we were okay. When my mom and son's father passed he came to give us his support at the funeral home. He has been through every kind of trama that you can think of with our family given us support and understanding. We've been patients over 25 years.

Dr. Hamlet has been my doctor for over 15 years and he's by far one of the best physicians I've ever seen. He's thorough, knowledgeable and very personable. While reading these other negative reviews, I can't help but to think that these people might be overly scrutinizing him because he's Black. We live in a very racist world, where the expectations for Black professionals are always much higher than other races, which isn't fair. Dr. Hamlet has excellent diagnostic skills and he's extremely intelligent - a perfect example of U of T trained doctor. He's passionate about helping people, and he's one of the few doctors that still does house calls. He truly cares about his patients and his community. He's also a great mentor - he not only treats my health conditions, but always educates me on my health so that I can make better choices. He's a leader in his field and I'm so glad I've been able to be his patient for all of these years.

I was first of happy to see that Dr. Hamlet is a black doctor. Coming from a place where there is no diversity and white folk dominate, I was happy to get a physician that was more than just one of a generic face. Second, he was very gentle when I was getting a PAP smear, he even warmed up the instrument and worked with me because I hate the feeling of some thing being shoved up my private section. I liked the conversation with him, he suggested I should become a doctor. The only problem is the white european lady that does not speak english properly working in his office, I highly dislike dealing with her cause she is crass and all the time I can never undestand what she is saying because of her accent. He's a good doctor for non-white people looking for diversity and relevance when it comes to health.

I have read all these comments and it's super shocking. I have been with this doctor for over 18 years and maybe he is different at his practice or something, but honestly he has helped a ton of my family from getting specialists to sending us in for treatments for cancer,Parkinson's and other things. The only thing I do agree on is him never on time, but until now he has been super helpful.
