Dr. Kamatovic always takes the time to explain the issues and the treatments . Always explains why and what other options are available and the reasons for each. I trust Dr. K completely and wish more doctors were as friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable.

My Family has had Dr. Kamatovic as our family physician since he first opened his practice in Fort Erie. He has helped us through some very difficult times and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about him. He is very knowledgeable and is always willing to give a referral to another doctor for those areas that require a more specialized opinion. Incredibly thorough in all that he does. For those comments indicating that he was difficult to understand because he used to much medical terminology.....if you would have asked him for clarification I am sure he would change how he explains it. I have seen him draw pictures/diagrams to help us understand what was happening. Our family would highly recommend him.

Anyone who can't see that Team Kamatovic is as good as it gets and as smart as they come, needs to better educate themselves. Don't be so tough on staff as they are the busiest practice in South Western Ontario for very good reason. They handle alot. Dr K & Nurse Michelle are world class. PERIOD! I'm an industry insider so I know better than anyone. I drive an hour to see Dr K & Nurse Michelle. Why? Because I don't take risks when it comes to my health. I'd drive to Toronto to see Team Kamatovic. More physicians see this team as patients than any other dr I know. That's pretty telling. If you are a patient of Team Kamatovic, stop buying Lottery tickets. You're already won. Remember Team Kamatovic (Dr RJ Kamatovic & Michele) is the only pair that beats a full house.

What a disappointment this office is. I tried for three days hundreds of phone calls but to no avail. They do not answer the phone for some reason. I do not have a working computer to go to the website . ( I am at someone else's house). I had an appointment to cancel. Now they think I just didn't bother to show up. Looking for a new Dr. Office where they answer their phones.

I am writing this review after an incredibly disappointing interaction with this doctor and his clinic. I have purposely waited several months to write this, as I did not want to write anything heat of the moment. Several months later, I am still very upset about my experience at this clinic.

After viewing online that I had some bloodwork come back abnormal, I waited a few days for the doctor to follow up. When this did not happen, I made several attempts to contact his office to ask for an appointment to go over my results (a phone call which he should have initiated in the first place). It took me two whole weeks, about a dozen phone calls per day, to finally get ahold of someone at the office. The receptionist said that the doctor would call me sometime in the next 48 hours. Later that day, I did have a missed call from his clinic, but, it was after-hours when I was not expecting it. I attempted to return the call within 20 seconds of the missed call, and could not get ahold of them. He did not leave a message and made no other attempt to follow-up. After this, again, I could not get ahold of the clinic and finally opted to take some time off of work to go walk-in to the clinic to get the answers I needed.

First, my boyfriend and I showed up together with different needs and concerns. We were waiting at the reception window to check in. The receptionist did not even glance in our direction, while we awkwardly stood there for almost ten whole minutes before she acknowledged our presence. While I have no problem waiting and being patient, a common courtesy of addressing us in some capacity at some point in the ten whole minutes is not a huge ask.

When we finally got in to see the doctor. I was in complete shock how unbelievably rude and arrogant he was. He was incredibly dismissive to our concerns. At one point, I was in the middle of a sentence, and he fully left the room to go get something from somewhere else in the office. I don’t doubt that he is incredibly knowledgeable, but he was explaining things in such technical terms, that it was impossible to follow. He also made accusations about abusing medications that were entirely false and uncalled for. I will give him credit that he did spend a considerable amount of time with us and answered our questions (albeit in a very dismissive and technical tone).

On our way out, he had forgotten to write a prescription for one of my medications and yelled a rude comment from the back of the office, suggesting that I had forgot to mention it, versus he had forgotten to write it.

At the receptionist desk on the way out, I asked for my bloodwork to be shared with my family doctor (after having absolutely no wishes to see this doctor ever again). She was acting very rude towards me as if I was asking for something outrageous.

One more thing to note, is that when I followed up with my family doctor about my lab work, he completely disagreed with the opinion and medication prescribed by this doctor. He advised me to absolutely not take the medication that RJ had suggested. I’m not saying my family doctor was correct and RJ was not, but the differing in opinions was just another red flag which has left me unsure how to proceed.

I will not be returning to see this doctor. I was disgusted with his condescending manner that has made me feel uneasy for months after. We deserve better than medical professionals that make us feel less-than.
