I have been a patient for several years before covid. I was born with digestive issues and have to get scopes every other year. Prior to covid I was instructed to call once every 18 months to schedule the scope, or sooner if I was having issues.

Policy changed during covid.

When I called in the secretary was very rude and dismissive. She told me to get a referral and SHE will call ME.

Ok. Did that, and waited a year before I heard back. She scheduled me for a virtual appointment in 7 months. I asked for an in office one instead." No, he doesn't have in office appointments anymore."

Ok, fine. Got my email, followed the instructions and waited for 2 hours in the virtual lobby. Noone joined the session.

I called the office several times during this virtual waiting room and no answer, so I left a voicemail after the 2 hours asking to be rescheduled.

No call back. I called once a week for 6 months, each time leaving a voicemail. Never getting a call back.

Finally she answered the phone. I explained that I was in the virtual waiting room for 2 hours, I've been leaving voicemails once a week for 6 months and I'd like an in office appointment. She reminded me that he doesn't have in office appointments anymore and was told another service uses the office now. I asked to have another virtual appointment. She said since it'd been a year since the original referal that I would need another one...

I got one, to a different physician. She will ruin his practice.

Dr.Khalifa is a wonderful doctor, he actually cares! His secretary is very nice and helpful!

Dr. Khalifa is wonderful. He took the time to listen to me. The secretary was very sweet. It is nice to not have to go somewhere for an appointment, I find the telephone appointments beneficial so I do not have to wait in a stuffy office with strangers.

Dr is very good. His secretary is horrible never answers the phone or returns calls. She is very unorganized. I wish Dr Khalifa would see this and address this but he doesn't unfortunately

The secretary I spoke with was very helpful with the video appointment. She even called me the day before to remind me and make sure I got the link. Dr. Khalifa was very nice and easy to understand and explained everything good. I look forward to being his patient

Staff never answer phones or return calls. Was not sent link for most recent appointment and then dr calls me and asks why I wasn't there. He needs to hire more competent staff

Helpful friendly secretary. I did not know how to do video and she helped me , and the doctor was very kind and took the time to listen to me and answer any questions I had.

Every time ,y husband or I have an apointment it get changed, time or date.. then you wait in the office while he is not during office hours... receptionist is unorganized ... He sets a date and time to follow up on phone...doesn't call or calls 2-3 hours after appointment time

I suffered with colitis for a long time with the doctor I was originally with. When they moved to a different town thankfully my file was transferred to Dr. Khalifa. He found it why I was suggesting so much after just or first meeting and corrected the medication I was on. He had since performed multiple of my scores with never any issue. He is nothing short of kindness and compassion when speaking to me after.

Amazing doctor when it comes to Crohn’s disease. He is the reason I was able to avoid surgery for years before recently having no other option. Highly recommend him for Crohns/Colitis
