Me and my wife have been seeing Dr. Langer for about 15 years now. We have no complain about his professionalism and knowledge of his job. We have not found him to be rushing during our consultations and treatment. Yeah, the office is outdated but this has nothing to do on how good he is doing his job. We normally arrive 5 minutes of appointed time and never have to wait. If you do not know him, you might think that he is that nerd of a guy who just do his job. But since we know him for 15 years, we know that he has some sense of humor. I highly recommend him.

He has been my family allergist for 30+ years. He knows what he is doing even though he might be very direct with how he speaks. He definitely looks out for his patients and their health

It is unfortunate that the secretary/medical receptionist at the toronto office can be so difficult to talk to. I have been seeing Dr. Langer for a number of years and I will admit I dread having to call and speak to her. That being said I have stuck with Dr. Langer. He is sort of quirky but don't be put off. He grows on you. If he is quick or seems dismissive I think I have realized it's because yes he is very busy but he is also very smart and doesn't always realize he hasn't fully explained something because his mind is on to the next thing. Sometimes you just have to stop him and ask for clarification. I have a few doctors like this. I would rather have a really smart knowledgeable doctor that is a little abrasive than a bad or mediocre one who is really sociable.

Since meeting Dr. Langer 2 years ago when my son was 1 yrs old and giving a good review, I will change that review as he is not very patient with children. We waited over 2 hrs to meet with him and he seemed very rushed. Everything was quick with no explanation and he only tested my son for one of the several things he is allergic to and said to come back in a year.

When doing the allergy test he only made contact with only few spots of my skin. Which showed reaction but rest of the spot there was nothing as he did not scratch my skin at all. Some of the drops were mixed together but they did not care. He also used the same needle to scratch my skin and then put the needle back in the package and put it the fridge. I can't get over this doctor how unprofessional he is. I told him that I have reaction to some of the food he did the test on and he says but there is no reaction. I thought to myself yes there is no reaction as you did not even scratch my skin. Then he tells me that I'm allergic to trees and everything that grows on trees. After that he gives me a web address and tells me to check on this web site what I might be allergic to. I just looked at him and thought then what is the point of me coming to your office. I still don't know what things I'm allergic to. Being that it's the office for an allergist, it was so unclean. Dirt and dust was everywhere.
I know a lot of people had good experience with him, but my experience was not so good and I will be going to another allergist as I will not be going back to him.

Missed appointment, misunderstood confirmation on previous day to appointment. Received phone call from secretary spoke loud and rudely. Charging 100$ for missing appointment, they should have said ahead of time that they would charge a 100$. Help your patient don't rip their lives from them. Poor service received from that lady secretary who hung up the phone on us.

Dr. Langer is a very good and knowledgeable doctor. We went to see him four times in the last couple of months. He is always very patient and nice with my daughter.
