I found Dr Quinton to be horrible! The least compassionate doctor I have ever met! She is very very rude and very condescending! As far as I’m concerned, she should not ever speak directly to a patient ...do research or something else. During chemo treatment I had a reaction to a medication, her response, “too bad, don’t get the chemo and you’ll die, don’t take the med your allergic to, chemo will not be given”. Never did she show any concern of what I was going thru or offer any alternative treatment or medication to help with reaction. I actually found more information online than she ever gave! Nasty, nasty person!

My husband was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer. Because my husband smoked Dr. Quinton decided he wasn’t worth treating. She was very rude, and quite blunt. She treated both my husband and myself as though we didn’t matter. She was ignorant with us on many occasions. Because she is an oncologist she made us feel she was superior and we were not worth bothering with. She as much wrote us off after a few months but with my insistence, I got my husband more time to live. I had never seen or dealt with any dr. Like this. No compassion, what so ever. She judged my husband because he smoked and she decided my husband wasn’t worth treating. But my husband survived cancer for five years. If it was up to Dr. Quinton he would have been dead within the first 6 months of seeing this doctor. So when you see nice comments on this doctor it is because she decides if she likes you or not, and judges you. She actually came out and accused my husband of getting cancer because he smoked. It was shocking. However when you are dealing with cancer and a loved one you do not know what to do. It is all so very overwhelming that you just accept how you are being treated. Knowing what I know today I could have reported her to the College of Physicians and Surgeons and as well charged her for the treatment we received.

I had an amazing experience through my cancer journey because Dr Quinton was knowledgeable, caring, often offering the latest information on the process. I had a positive outcome because of her recommendation so much so I did not need radiation :)

Doctor Quinton is the best oncologist ever.. She is very knowledgeable with great experience.. She is very kind and always on top of things.. She doesn't let any small detail passes by without documenting it and treating it.. I found her to be very helpful and always smiling.. Thank you doctor for everything.
