Christie delivered my second son in a hospital setting. She would not allow me to have an epidural. I begged for one when the pain was too intense. She ignored my husband’s request to help me. I am still haunted by the birth that was not ‘my’ birth. The pre and post birth care was amazing. But the the lack of resept for my wishes made me choose a doctor for the birth of my third child.

This review is long overdue. Christy is an amazing woman and midwife. I didn't require a lot of attention, but having my first child I went into labor completely blind. I had the best labor and birth outcomes from a medical perspective, but doing it without medication definitely required some reality checks and tough love from Christy. The aftercare is amazing as well - I suffered a horrible bout of PPD in the first week after delivery and Christy and Cassie were right there with me - they made sure I had every resource, checked in on me constantly and made sure I felt supported no matter how awful I felt. She really felt more like family by the end, and I will never hesitate to go back to her if we have a second - actually scratch that, I can't imagine having another and not having Christy there!!

Christy is the most amazing woman ever! 10/10 would recommend her and Cassie to any woman who was interested in a midwife. It is so bitter sweet that our time has come to an end. Thank you for bringing my baby earth side and making my pregnancy and birth the SECOND most pleasurable experience of my life next to holding my daughter.

Rude and aggressive. She called 911 because she anticipated complications with the delivery. She wouldn't even let paramedics near my wife. She was completely unprofessional with them.

Christy was very supportive of my VBAC and assisted wonderfully. She handled my low birth weight baby with care and compassion and supported us. She was very prompt at coming to the house for visits and really made us feel at ease. I appreciate everything she did for my birth.

Christy was not a very helpful midwife. She was aggressive and accused me of smoking on many occasions (I do not smoke) she also wanted me to eat my placenta and did not accept that I was not interested in that. She completely missed my birth (and my baby was delivered by a student) when she finally arrived at my house she was rude to my family. I would not recommend her to anyone ever.

Christy (& her midwife partner Cassie) is an incredible midwife. She provided care for me & my family through 2 pregnancies. Her/their support, knowledge, skill and compassion helped bring my 2 beautiful girls safely into the world and for them to both have really good starts. When each birth turned unexpectedly higher risk, I felt well supported by Christy/Cassie even while under the temporary care of an obstetrician. And when breastfeeding was not going as smoothly the 2nd time as expected, Christy made an extra late night home visit to provide the extra reassurance and help with making a plan that I needed to get us on track for very successful long-term breastfeeding. I would not hesitate to recommend Christy (& Cassie) to anyone considering midwifery care.
