Worst. Doctor. Ever. Stay far far away from this one. Extremely rude. Money hungry. Zero bedside manners. Staff literally talks about how ignorant and money hungry she is. How sad. Exact words from her own receptionist on their recorded line at the Albany Clinic, “She likes to charge people”. What a joke of a “Doctor”.

I saw Dr. Kusenthiran at the walk-in clinic today. I have a mysterious ailment affecting my legs and she was able to put my mind at ease and assure me that it is not Deep Vein Thrombosis. However, she didn’t know what the actual problem was. I figured it out and I don’t know if she will read this but I wanted to somehow let her know what it is - Cold Panniculitis! Doctors hate when patients self-diagnose, but understandably they can’t afford to put in the time to research every non-life threatening case they come across. So just in case she’s reading this and is curious at all, that’s what I have!
Other than that she was very considerate of my time and seems like a very kind person.

Dr. K is our family doctor for me and my three children and has been for about 8 years. She consistently shows us that she is willing to take time out of her day to help us - even when she has days that she is very busy and technically not available. We feel very well taken care of. Each visit is fairly punctual - occasionally having to wait a short time, but never for long.
She is very knowledgeable and willing to investigate a problem to it's resolution. What I like most is that she clearly cares about our well being. I'm appreciative of the time she takes to understand the problem, and make me feel confident that my children and I are in good hands.

I am one of Dr berntsons old patients, so I have high expectations of what a doctor should be. This doctor doesn’t give a care about her patients, never follows
Up and puts you through loopholes if you ever need any sort of testing done. She’s always late and is very authoritative when she speaks. Not personable at any level

I had an IUD inserted by Dr. Kusenthiran and was very nervous going into the appointment. She was so kind, friendly, and reassuring, and explained everything she was doing step by step. Even though this is not the most fun experience, she made me feel so much better and I'm so glad that she is the Dr. who did this for me! The appointment was right on time, and all the other staff were so friendly as well.

Does not deserve to be paid for telephone consultations (during COVID-19 when doctors are consulting patients by telephone). Waste of our taxpayer dollars. Worst doctor I have ever had the great misfortune to engage with. Staff at Albany Clinic (where she practices from) have noted of her moodiness and rudeness, as well, stated that the clinic has had numerous patients complain about her. I did not give much weight to this until I had consults with her. If you are looking for a doctor who is consistent, responsible, professional, exercises logical thinking, and who actually cares about being a good doctor - and not just in it for the status and money as this one clearly seems to be - then please keep on looking. If I could give 0 stars I would, believe me.

Overall this was a very poor experience. Dr. Kusenthrian failed to diagnose a staph and shingles infection, and without looking at my partner concluded she had a skin infection, which we are still not sure if it's shingles or the same staph infection I had. She failed to give me any meds, just told me to wait it out because she couldn't tell me if it was viral or bacterial. My partner presented with pustules and she didn't even bother to give her a simple swab to figure out what we're dealing with. Meanwhile I am on my second round of anti-virals - well done doc.

Dr. Kusenthiran has been my GP for over 5 years. I'm a healthy and active 36 year old female. I like Dr. K a lot and have recommend her to friends. Dr. K has a really nice bedside manner and is very approachable about potentially embarrassing topics. She always takes time to listen to my concerns and responds appropriately. She is conservative when prescribing medication, paying close attention to potential drug interactions and on occasion refusing to prescribe antibiotics because she believed them to be unnecessary (and she was right.) She is LGBTQ friendly, though not particularly knowledgeable of queer health issues, she creates a welcoming and non-judgmental space. I feel fortunate to have Dr. K as my GP.
