Dr Mah is exceptional. She has gone above and beyond for me since she became my gp in 2018. Venetia is client centered, empowering, knowledgeable, kind, compassionate, and knows her stuff. I trust her and she provides the best medical care.

I have found Dr. Mah to be a straightforward, effective, well informed and knowledgable physician who clearly works hard and cares about her patients. I feel very lucky to have her as my physician.

I think that with a little more compassion Dr. Mah could be great. However, this was overall an unpleasant visit. I agree with other reviews that feel she is condescending and seems very rushed and stressed. She was speaking so fast I barely understood what she was saying. She also did not do a routine test I had requested which has always been offered to me by other doctors. Please work on your people skills and show more care to your patients.

Dr. Mah has been a very caring family doctor to me. When I sent her a photo of a skin rash of mine, she had me go into the clinic the next day and she removed it for me because she believed it was skin cancer. She was right and I will always be appreciative of her efficient and wise medical care.

Dr Mah has been my doctor for a few years now and has been always consistent, knowledgeable and compassionate. She has show me alot of care and consideration and is very thorough in checking out all diagnosis to solve health issues. She has ensured that I receive the proper referrals when needed and I am extremely appreciative to be under her care.

Dr. Mah doesn't keep appointment times and gets angry when I ask questions. I wish I could find another Dr. The staff doesn't seem to have any consistent way of doing things.

Dr Mah always seems rushed and stressed. Her tone is often condescending and she is quick to get defensive if you disagree with her or question her in any way. She constantly interrupts. Like others have said, if there wasn’t a doctor shortage in Vancouver, I would go elsewhere.

I have found Dr Mah to be timely and to be knowledgeable, however I have also found her to be extremely condescending to me on more than one occasion. I find I often leave feeling belittled and ignored. There have been many times where she has appeared to not listen to what I was saying, and she has talked to me like a child. I do not feel any compassion from this doctor and do not feel cared for by her. She does not show compassion and she often has a cavalier attitude. I wish she could show more compassion and take some time to listen.

I don’t mind the long wait but the staff are rude. Every time when I had seen Dr. Mah she had been unfriendly and condescending. I feel that she could improve on her beside manners. If there were more GP in Vancouver, I would have moved on with another GP.
