He is rude, arrogante, short, has no professional manners, he was eating his lunch while doing my 3 minute consultation. He was annoyed when I asked questions,

I had been suffering from bleeding when going to the bathroom for years. Two colonoscopies later, Dr Gould told me that there was nothing out of the ordinary. When I asked for a follow on appointment, he refused.

My second time visiting Dr.Gould ...His secretary is an excellent lady and always does her job professionally..
The doctor himself is very down to earth and answers my questions...
He explained everything well and it was easy to understand...thank you

I am very grateful for the medical care I received from Dr. Gould. He performed my endoscopy and colonoscopy recently. I really appreciated that he advocated that I get these tests done, and that he was able to see me and perform these tests in such a timely fashion. He was very knowledgeable and skilled. Overall I was very pleased with my care. Thank you Dr. Gould.

I was unfurtunately referred to this individual, which does not deserve to be call a Dr.
Misanthropic behaviour at is best, the appointment lasted 3 min, needless to explain his poor behaviour. Went to my car and cried of impotence!!

I made the mistake of seeing Dr. Gould today. He was totally unprofessional in his tshirt and cargo pants. He was on time and had absolutely no bedside manner. He was incredibly rude and crass. Stay away from him at all costs. Find another gastroenterologist!

i am a physician and was referred to Dr Gold. Be careful about using his services. The welfare of patients is not a priority for him. He would rather recommend a for profit procedure rather than doing what is right for the patient. Avoid him at all costs.

Dr. Gould was prompt and answered all my questions. He and his staff got back to me on a timely basis, and he was kind and thorough in his procedure.

In hindsight, should have checked reviews but was so happy to get Appt during this awful time, now I know why he was available, and I wish I can just copy and paste all the negatives I read now, verbatim. I send support to all who experienced negatives. I will forever learn from this cold terrible experience. Totally forgot we saw him several years ago and he dismissed us then, needed this experience like a hole in the head. But those who had great experience I pray for you. Please don't lie. It can't be real when the majority are still reeling from the terrible service. I will follow up, trust me Mr doctor. Please read these. Try to put your ego aside. Remember why your services are required. We are people like you. Earn your wings. Smh. Sadly.

I am writing this review because I wish that I had the foresight to look into Dr. Gould before I let him be in charge of my treatment. I don't want anyone else to be faced with the regret that I am now stuck with. I feel like I didn't do right by myself letting him be my specialist. I don't think he is a bad person, but he is an incredibly selfish and negligent doctor. Facing a new and daunting diagnosis, I felt really uncomfortable around him. I never felt comfortable asking questions or speaking up for myself. He was only ever focused on his vacation time and looked at me, a critically ill IBD patient, as a major burden. He ignored my symptoms time and time again, to the point where I was put in life-threatening, otherwise AVOIDABLE medical situations upwards of 5 times. He left me to fend for myself with regards to arranging life-saving medications. Sadly (and regrettably), I thought this was normal.
After I changed GIs (because I couldn't stand his unearned arrogance, neglect and condescension any longer), I learned that it is very much NOT normal take care of sorting out treatment alone, without the help of your specialist. Sitting here reflecting on my experience , I cant help but feel like I was a victim of medical neglect under his care. As a young woman, I would not recommend this doctor to anyone who needs any help with regards to treatment, or any emotional support whatsoever. I wish him the best, and I hope he becomes a better doctor in the future, however I'm feeling the need to inform anyone else with bowel issues of who he is as a doctor before you get stuck with him. I would not recommend.
