I have had a great experience with Dennis and Power Health Chinook. He is very friendly and easy to talk to. I would highly recommend if you are looking for a chiropractor. The front desk staff are also really welcoming and helpful.

Genuinely a great person, and it’s a great clinic with amazing staff. Dr Dennis is very friendly and puts you at ease as soon as he walks into the room. He looks at what treatment plan is best for each individual, not just sticking to one method. He also has a great range, and is able to treat more than just back problems!

He genuinely cares about how his patients are doing and what progress they're making. Dennis is very personable and approachable about whatever concerns you may have. He goes out of his way to ensure his patients receive the best care possible.

Dr. D is incredible. He not only does adjustments, he does IMS - Basically I feel like I’ve been for an adjustment as well as Physiotherapy. I have been a patient since 2014 and have sent many many friends there who also are super happy. He’s a magician in the chiropractic field

Biography

A native Calgarian, Dr. Desjardins was a keen sportsman in school. He accepted injury as unavoidable, and even believed that he would just have to learn to live with the pain and limitations caused by those injuries. When he learned about the ability of chiropractic to treat injury and eliminate pain, he knew that he had found his passion. After obtaining his undergraduate degree in biology, Dr. Desjardins furthered his studies in the four-year chiropractic program at Logan Chiropractic College in St Louis. Since then he has practiced in West Virginia, North Carolina, and Alberta. During his practice years in North Carolina Dr. Desjardins gained valuable experience treating a wide array of injuries for U.S. military professionals based at Fort Bragg, and had the privilege of treating members of the U.S Army Parachute team, the Golden Knights. Over the years Dr. Desjardins has kept up with the latest advances in treatment of soft tissue injuries and pain syndromes, constantly reading the latest research and proactively participating in continuing education and training. Dr. Desjardins is a fully certified Active Release Therapy practitioner and also specializes in the use of the Graston Technique, and Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS) which together are a powerful complement to chiropractic in the treatment and rehabilitation of soft tissue injuries. Dr. Desjardins stays active with strength training including kettlebells and Indian clubbells.
