Dr Gupta is one of the kindest doctors I have ever met. Never makes you feel like an imposition. Always willing to answer your questions and concerns. More than willing to facilitate tests if necessary. My diagnosis was shocking and traumatic. I wish I had Dr Gupta from the onset as I think it would have been much easier on me. I am so lucky to have him consulting on my case. He has definitely picked up the slack a few times where other doctors left me hanging or made me feel like a nuisance.

I believe he picks and chooses who he will be nice and accommodating with or curt and not nice to - I fell in the latter camp and it was not a good experience.

I thought Dr.Gupta and his staff were amazing
Flexible, compassionate and extremely knowledgeable. I felt like we were treated with dignity and respect. Never felt uncomfortable asking questions or bringing forward concerns.
All requests were met and they were easy to communicate with.
They helped my daughter through a very difficult time and we are forever grateful

Waited 7 months to see him for a 3.5 min visit. Asked questions he already knew from my GP then he proceeded to tell me my lymphoma was begnin which h I knew already and I shared that with him. He said I'm going to have Dr. LEWIS removed this as my wait list is 2 yrs lol not sure why he must have time when he only spends 3 to 5 min a person. I said to him this could have been done by a zoom call that my time is money also. And I shared that on all for private care because the wait and useless appt could have been avoided. Oh and bedside manner wear mittens or hand warmers.

I was referred to him because of a masse near the brain. He said I needed a special biopsy that he wasn't comfortable doing in clinic. He said it would take a couple of weeks to get it done but he got it booked a week & a half after my appointment. He was very reassuring that they will get answers.

We are very fortunate to have Dr. Michael Gupta and the Head and Neck Surgical team at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Hamilton, Ontario. I am so grateful for the care, compassion and expertise, which I have received from them. Dr. Michael Gupta is a very good listener and I received the upmost respect from him. He consistently gave me, and my husband, the time we needed to ask questions. Dr. Gupta is to-the-point, but also very thorough in sharing his knowledge. The urgency of my surgery was taken seriously and handled precisely by the entire team, which provided me with the best possible outcome. I was diagnosed and in surgery is very good time. Quite remarkable considering the complexity of my 7 hour surgery, which required the coordinating of more than one Surgeon to be working simultaneously. There are only 4 Surgeons in Hamilton that are qualified to handle the surgery that I required. I met with 3 of the 4 of them and I received the same respect and compassion from each of them. I am so very grateful to have their knowledge and expertise in Hamilton, as I would have otherwise needed to travel to Toronto or London for my surgery. The entire Head and Neck Surgical team at St. Joe’s Hospital have my full respect for the work that they do. Each and every one of them have good bedside manner, even though they are, all, very busy professionals. I received the same care and respect from every Doctor, Resident Doctor, Nurse, and each of the specialists and employees, which I had encountered at St. Joe’s Hospital. Truly a remarkable group of humans helping to make the best out of very difficult life-experiences! Dr. Gupta, thank you!

ARROGANT, IGNORANT, RUDE, CONDESCENDING....didn't see him after the surgery. Nowhere to be found to answer questions to his rationale for keeping my mom in the hospital for what it's supposed to be a day surgery.
