My wife’s 2 hour surgery turned into a 4 1/2 hour nightmare. They had to remove the laparoscopic equipment mid surgery and reinsert it. No explanation was ever given for the surgery mishap.
Now she has 6 scars instead of 3. She also throws up after every meal, and developed chronic pain syndrome as a result of untreated pain from the surgery. I suspect one of his students screwed up the surgery, and my wife was the unfortunate lab rat.
I’m not ruling out some kind of retribution against my wife, early in the process Karen from the barriatric clinic fell down on the job where my wife’s file was concerned. We complained, and after we formally complained we felt like there was some payback coming from the clinic staff in general. I am not saying my wife’s surgery mishap was intentional, but I can’t rule it out.

Great doctor if you are an uncomplicated straight forward case. God forbid if something goes wrong as he will drop you faster than a hot potatoe.

What an amazing doctor. Dr. Robertson performed gastric bypass on me July 19th and he has amazing bedside manners. He talked with me while being put to sleep in the OR. I highly recommend him.

If I did not get a second recommendation, I would of died because of this Doctor and I am thankful that I was close to an hospital out if town for surgery!! It sure cost me a s*it load if money due to that I was in the States. Shame on you Robertson you are just the most awful Doctor that I have ever met!! Be aware of this Dr and the good recommendations!!

Dr. Robertson's genuine care and compassion was what I needed to calm me during this process. I can't say enough about this amazing surgeon. I had severe anxiety about surgery and he calmed me every step of the way. He is the most compassionate and wonderful doctor I have ever met. To top it off, he literally changed my life with this surgery. I will forever be grateful to this man.

Dr Robertson has the best bed side manner and explains everything very well. He is compassionate and always answers all questions. I have dealt with both his secretaries. they are both wonderful to deal with and always return phone calls. You will not go wrong with Dr Robertson and his staff!
