Dr. Joughin was fantastic when treating my son's hip dysplasia. She was thorough, answered all of our questions, and her casting was wonderful. She's super friendly, and we were able to get in with her right away. We'll be following up with her for a few years I'm sure, and I'm confident in her expertise in treating my son.

Dr Joughin treated my son’s unilateral clubfoot beginning in 2006 after it regressed at age 4. She was one of 3 recommended doctors in Alberta using the Ponseti method. She successfully corrected his foot with repeat casting every 2 weeks for 4 months. The only surgery was the tendon release. She continued to monitor him annually until she 16.

She is extremely busy so appointments were usually behind schedule but that is expected. We only had issues with one of the casting technicians and when brought to her attention that person never treated my son again.

My son was born with atypical left clubfoot and it was very severe . Over the course of the last Almost 10 weeks we have seen Dr. J each week for casting and therapy . She is very informative and had answers for all our questions . She is up to date on proper casting technique and she always casts the foot herself . She has done amazing work with my sons foot . I trust her care completely and definitely recommend her as a specialist clubfoot doctor to anyone looking . Her clinic has been able to squeeze us in on short notice when we had concerns needing to be addressed . She has completely eased my mind of the stresses that come along with correcting a clubfoot . She’s very child friendly , my son loves her ! I would not see anybody else for his foot care !

If I could've done surgery I'm sure I could've done a better job than Dr. Joughin. She said NOTHING about how badly my daughter's arm break was, ignored infections (skin and in bone) just says she does "beautiful" work. Doesn't answer any questions or concens we've had with anything more than "that's weird" "it shouldn't do that" She has likely caused irreversible nerve damage in my 8 yr olds arm and her and her staff could care less. If you end up in an emergency situation like we did and Dr. J is the one on call, see if someone else can do the surgery. From start to now only half way through the healing process it's been nothing but the run around and not caring at all! Would give zero stars if I could

My son was born with a clubfoot. We have been seeing Dr. Joughin for over 4 years now and have had very positive experiences with her each and every visit. She knows her stuff, she cares for her patients, she available as needed, and she is up to date with medical protocols. I highly recommend Dr. Joughin.

I completely destroyed my knee a 6 years ago, and I mean destroyed. I had a torn ACL, MCL, LCL, miniscus, shattered knee cap and well as several tears in various muscles, ligaments and tendons. Not only did Dr. Joughin perform an incredible 5 hour surgery but I haven’t had a problem with that knee since. She was kind, empathetic, knowledgable, and ensured that I had the utmost care possible. I would highly recommend her for any orthopedic surgery!

Dr. Joughin has been a huge help for my twin girls! She did knee surgery on one of them and has been very compassionate, caring, and extremely helpful in dealing with her knee problem. If we had questions we wold call her office and she would call us back within the day!
When my other daughter fractured her elbow, she immediately helped us out again in getting her admitted quickly to have surgery done. I would highly recommend her!!!

Dr Joughin has taken excellent care if my son who broke both of his legs in a quadding accident. She was kind and thorough and he's had no issues with his ankle after she fixed it. We are very thankful for her care.
