Dr. Albrecht is very thorough and had taken the time to explain my procedure and answer any questions I had. After my surgery, she checked in with me same day and the next day with a follow up phone call the following week. I highly recommend her.

I had a D&C with this doctor, after the ultra sound showed no growth in the baby and no heart beat. When we first met on the day of surgery, she was super nice and seemed to be genuinely concerned about me. The D&C went as smooth as it possibly could, with no complications after. When they got the pathology results and turned out that I had a molar pregnancy, she delivered the results to me in the most gentle caring way possible, explaining all the risks and still not freaking me out. I had a very pleasant experience with her.

Was very nice and willing to answer questions before surgery so I felt that I was in good hands. Unfortunately I have problems post-op and she has told me it is in my head that I must be anxious. Seems more concerned with defending herself that the surgery went smoothly than actually helping me now. I bet you would think she is great if everything went well but she is not there for you when there are problems.

I just had a partial hysterectomy by Dr. Albrecht and can't say enough good things about her! I had some minor complications during the surgery. She was in the recovery room when I woke up and stopped by several times before I was discharged from the hospital which was within 24 hours. She has checked on me at home also. I have no ties to the medical field. I am very pleased with her bedside manner and found her very caring!

I saw Kelly filling in for my regular OB was on vacation, she was friendly, helpful, answered questions and patient with a ready to be done third trimester mom!! Would highly recommend her

Condescending and has an ego. I saw her for period pain and she did some tests which came up normals so she made it sound like I was just making it up or exaggerating. I went to a specialist and we finally got to the bottom of my problems. I'm glad I kept searching for help and didn't just believe this doctor.

It is interesting to read the comments below. It seems that she treats you better if you work in the medical field. I was told she was great by a friend of mine who is a GP and had Dr Albrecht for her pregnancy. She was not so great with me. I found her moody and borderline rude at times. Luckily it was one of her colleagues that was on call for the delivery of my son.

Kelly is an amazing OB. I had a high risk pregnancy with my first and she did EVERYTHING she could to make me feel safe and cared for throughout a dangerous pregnancy. I'm an ICU nurse so I was very anxious about everything and Dr. Albrecht would hook me up to the monitors in her office just so I could listen to my baby's heartbeat and feel assured that everything was okay. She was also my OB for my next two kids and was actually the one who delivered my son. It was the most beautiful and calm delivery I've ever experienced. If we have a 4th kid, there is no one else that I would like to have care for me than Kelly Albrecht!

I had a very similar experience as many of the women on here - found Dr Albrecht defensive, combative, and contributed to a lot of stress and angst during my pregnancy and delivery. I wish I could go back in time, trust my gut, and get a different care provider. If you are in that situation reading this give yourself permission to ask for a change!
