Very rude, mean and doesn't take the time to explain things. I would not go back to see him ever again.

I (and my family) have been with doctor Quek for about 8 years. We have found him to be extremelly professional, skilled and patient. In adition to have offered excellent dentistry work, I had to contact him for emergency calls on week ends and statutory holidays. Everytime he made me feel at ease and was readily available to do the work. Staff is also very professional and courteous.

this guy needs to work on his bedside manner. He talks to you like you're stupid. He is very impatient as well and if something is not going right, he blames the patient. Don't know why he's so grumpy all the time.

3 words come to mind in regards to Dr. Quek:
Calm, experienced & knowledgeable.
I recently had a root canal performed, and the good doctor couldn't possibly have done a better job. He's also very personable and a very good communicator. To top it all off, he makes himself available after hours during his own personal time, make sure any patient of his experiencing difficulties is looked after. I think this is quite commendable, and virtually unheard of.
His staff is also very friendly and knowledgeable.
I highly recommend Dr. Quek and his staff!! Hands down the best dentist office I have ever visited.
Final note: There's a comment in here, somewhere, that read: "Made me feel stupid..uncaring..worst experience I have had". I have to wonder if this person is trolling? I just can't imagine anyone actually having met Dr. Quek coming away with this sort of opinion.

Am a new patient and first procedure was a root canal. Past experience made me very apprehensive. Although it was a 2 appointment process, it was a very positive experience. I am so happy I was given this doctor's name. He is fabulous. Will be recommending him to everyone I know that is need do a patient, kind and very knowledgeable and professional man. His hygenist, Nicole is fabulous. First time I felt no pain having a cleaning.

Dr. Quek has been my dentist for 13yrs and he's simply the best. Patient, calm and knowledgeable. I've never once felt he was doing anything as a cash grab. The hygienist are amazing too. I preferred his old receptionist though. This new receptionist I don't care for but then I don't have much to do with her. She could be more personable!

Visited his office today and was very impressed. Dr. Quek really put me at ease and I instantly trusted him. His hygrniest Nicole was outstanding. Best painless, bloodless cleaning I have ever had. She is very kind and has a super sense if humour. Thankyou all!

Dr. Quek and his staff are amazing. My kids love going and my entire extended family sees him as well. Very knowledgeable and has a great bedside manner. He stays involved with the UBC School of Dentistry as well. I recommend him to all of my friends who look for a dentist. I live in Port Coquitlam and travel to New West to see him and his staff. They are like family!

I first went to Dr Quek for a root canal, and was quite apprehensive. His manner and treatment were completely reassuring, and I never had any problems with the root canal or any work that Dr Quek did. He is informative and treats questions respectfully and intelligently. He's a wonderful person and dentist.

My whole family (6 people) have been going to Dr Quek for over 10 years now and I couldn't be happier. He has looked after my parents, my children always with unparalleled professionalism, care and knowledge. We will never switch dentists.
