I often have back pain and after taking painkillers on a regular basis the pain was so severe that I decided to try acupuncture. I walked into Dr May Huang's office with my back hunched over and will admit I was a little afraid as I didn't know what to expect as far as have needles inserted into my body. My leg was also giving in and could hardly take a step without almost falling. I couldn't believe that almost instantly after having a few needles inserted into my hands while standing, I was able to take small steps and my leg was so much better and with each step I took, she would wiggle the needle and the weakness in my leg was gone. I lay down and she inserted more needles in my stomach and feet, which by the way I hardly felt, and walked out with my back straight and free of pain. I continue to see her on a regular basis and I highly recommend her services.

I can't praise enough Dr. May, she healed my chronic sinus headeache and infection. I was on and off on antibiotics with no relief, I tried all the sinus products in the health store, again, with no relief. I decided to try accupuncture, for the first time in life. I found Dr. May on internet with excellent reviews and I gave it a try. After the first session my headache was gone, I felt only on and off minor congestions. This is my third month of weekly sessions and I feel excellent. I will continue to see Dr May because my whole body benefits this ancient treatment done so skilfully by Dr May.
I should also add that Dr May is very caring, very accomodating and has a warm personality which I am sure helps the whole process. You have to trust and appreciate the doctor for your treatment to be succesful. I did and I will trust and appreciate Dr May, she saved me from severe headaches and poisonous antibiotics.

Dr Mary - the dearest and most caring person in medicine I have ever met treated me after having a very high fever - leaving me with no TASTE or SMELL ability. She treated me with cups and acu for a few weeks and sometimes she had to warn me ... "this one is pain" before putting the needle exactly where it should be. My smell returned in such a way that I could smell better than ever before (she initially tested it by burning something and I could smell the smoke). My taste came back and I literally tasted foods differently - better than ever before! She treated me after that for menopause symptoms for the time we lived in Ontario. She also treated my husband and son for ADD after which they both stopped medication for it! I miss her so - living in BC now. If you wonder if she can treat you for anything - just go! I am very grateful to Dr. May Huang for her help in achieving my dream of having babies. I was trying for over 3 years without luck. Last November I went to see her and after a few sessions I was pregnant at the end of December. Now I am 17 weeks and very happy. She is very skillful and truly cares for her patients. The office is very clean and peaceful. The whole experience is positive when I go every week to see her.

For the first time in many years, I went through the winter without any antibiotics.
As a teacher, I would catch any bugs running around which would lead to sinus, ears infections...,

Dr May helped my 11 year old son with his hearing. I am so grateful that I had found her. The doctors had told me he needed a hearing aid and I was desperate to find another solution. After 6 sessions my son tells me he hears louder and I have always been testing his hearing and he hears. I am so happy with the results

I am very grateful to Dr.May for her knowledge and skills, which help me so much! Although I have a traditional medical education,and acupuncture philosophy seems a little bit strange for my mind, it is proved by myself that it is work perfectly in brilliant doctors hands. Firstly and foremost,Dr.May by couple appointments make my nerves calm down and I stopped felling cold all the time.Moreover, after 4 procedures I become pregnant to the next ovulation, while before we are trying about 4 month without any results.I have no idea how it works,but it is obvious that Dr.May help me.In addition I have had just one appointment to release my back pain(I am in a 2-nd tremester).Dr.May have made needless on my doors and hands ,and it was so wondering that the pain which I had 4days just go out! Incredible acupuncturist! Really knows her stuff and very professional and caring. You can tell that she really cares about her patients and tries to help in any way she can. Was incredibly helpful for fertility issues. She got my irregular, painful periods to come every 28 days like clockwork with minimal pain! We have a beautiful baby boy thanks to the help of Dr. May!

I have been seeing Dr. May Huang for tinnitus and also some mild hearing loss. The tinnitus was very loud and annoying, and now after 10 treatments it is almost gone; just a very mild high pitch noise, which I don't really notice unless I'm really focusing on it. My family has noticed that they don't have to repeat themselves as often and in the stores I can hear what cashiers are saying again. All in all a very good experience. She is friendly, helpful and caring. Very punctual as well, which is important to me, as I have often other appointment to go to. J C Allen

I saw Dr. Huang at least a year ago, regarding my Meniere's symptoms. Her therapies , not only helped to resolve my symptoms, she noted some other issues I had, including sinus problems. I would really recommend this type of therapy to anyone who is unfamiliar. It's often difficult for some of us to believe there is an alternative to "main stream" medicine. Having worked with many physicians, I could be one example of that. Dr. Huang really did help me and I would, again recommend anyone to give it a try!
