Zach Olesinski provided one of the most thorough and effective treatments I have experienced. His Japanese-style acupuncture approach was gentle yet very precise. I noticed significant improvement in breathing, sinus congestion, neck stiffness, and overall relaxation after treatment. He took time to understand my condition and explained the process clearly. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and dedicated practitioner.

I first met Zach before Mahaya Health Services had even opened, at a beautiful sound healing event in Pluto where he was offering Japanese acupuncture. During the session, he placed a single needle on the crown of my head, right at the center of my scalp, and the sensation I felt is honestly hard to describe. I could feel energy and sensation all the way down to my toes. It was magical, calming, and deeply profound — and in that moment, I knew I wanted to become Zach’s client whenever he opened his own practice. I’ve now been going to Mahaya Health Services for the past couple of months, mainly for gut-related issues, and the results have been incredible. Zach is genuinely one of the gentlest practitioners you could ever find. If you’re nervous about needles, he is so soft and precise that you barely feel them. He also explains everything with so much care and clarity that you immediately feel comfortable and at ease. What amazes me most is how quickly you can feel the effects of the treatment. Before acupuncture, some of the pressure points connected to my gut issues are extremely tender and painful, but by the end of the session, I can literally feel that pain melt away. Every treatment leaves me feeling lighter, calmer, and more aligned in my body. He also incorporates moxibustion into treatments, which feels deeply nourishing. Mahaya is very thoughtfully created and I am so grateful to have found Zach.

Zach Olesinski was professional, knowledgeable, and able to relieve the pain from sciatica that persisted after 3 months of physio. He listened to my complaints, and treated them accurately. I highly recommend him.

I’ve had acupuncture with a range of practitioners over the years to support general wellness, emotional processing, and physical recovery. What stands out with Zach isn’t just the more minimal, Japanese approach (compared to the needle-heavy TCM I was used to), but the space he creates around the work. He’s an exceptional acupuncturist - steady, attentive & attuned. In our sessions, he weaves together gentle needling with hands-on techniques like massage and myofascial work in a way that feels seamless and intentional. Nothing feels rushed and you can feel the care and dedication in how he works. As a bodywork practitioner myself, I find his level of presence and technical depth inspiring. It’s rare to experience both so fully. If you’re curious about acupuncture but hesitant about needles, or you’re looking for something precise, gentle, and effective to support your healing, I’d highly recommend him.

I experienced Japanese acupuncture and was quite surprised at not only the physical relief and internal shifts I noticed in my body, but the way that Zach communicated and connected the physical with the emotional really resonated with me. Great experience! Would highly recommend .

I have a fear of needles, but Zach was incredibly gentle with the acupuncture. Before I even had a chance to feel nervous, my body started to relax right away. It was such a comforting experience, and I felt completely at ease. Highly recommend!

Zach is a very skilled acupuncturist, I highly recommend him! He is kind and attentive, and very attuned to the nuances he see's in his clients. He was able to find and heal the root cause of what I came in for, and I noticed powerful shifts in my body even days after his session. I found the Japanese-style acupuncture, Watsu, really powerful and much easier to receive than traditional acupuncture. He approaches health in a holistic way and I am looking forward to my next session with him!

What a gift it is to have Zach in my life. The last time I came to him I was severely fatigued and not my normal energetic self. In just one session, I felt renewed and ready for life once again. His calm and informed demeanour creates a sense of safety and trust that makes each session feel so efficacious and enjoyable.
