Dr. Thompson operated on my leg twice, and after 8 months he tells me he is going to have to amputate. I went to get a 2nd opinion and 4 months after meeting a new surgeon, I’m happy to say I still have my leg and am almost 100% recovered. Dr. Thompson did not treat the infection in my leg. All he wanted to do was operate on me and I believe his ultimate goal was to cut my leg off. Found out from many many MANY nurses that his nickname is Dr. Cut It Off!!! Save your leg and your life and DO NOT LET THIS BUTCHER OPERATE ON YOU OR ANYONE YOU KNOW!!!!!

Worst surgeon ever!! Old school ways!! No beside manner at all!! 4 months post surgery and I'm still not healed!! He has made a complete mess of my leg and I never had nerve pain before but he clearly did something to me surgery and now I have excruciating pain in my leg all the time!! I have many sleepless nights because of what this man did to me!!! I would not recommend him and if anyone I knew had what I had, I would tell them it's worth the drive to Toronto where you can find a surgeon who has earned the God complex bedside manner because this man certainly has earned it!!!! Never again will he ever get near me with a scalpel!!

My personal experience with Dr Allan Thompson was excellent....I was having swelling in my legs due to circulation problems...He had the test repeated that I had before going to him..I came out of there feeling better than going in...My problem was not severe he said and my arthritis is causing a lot of the problem.....The staff were excellent...They were very pleasant and helpful...I would want to go back to him if I have any further problems...I found him very pleasant.., precise and kind...

Recently had vascular bi pass surgery by Dr. Thompson. Could not be any happier with the staff and how fast they were to get me in for an angiogram and actual surgery after that. Bookings at Peterboro Hospital for both procedures done right at his office. Due to Dr Thompson's skills my operation went very smooth, with no pain nor after effects. Circulation has improved greatly. Dr. Thompson is very personable and answers any and all questions I had in a understandable way . A wonderful surgeon.

After many surguries with a very arrogant vascular surgeon in Oshawa it was stroke of luck to find myself in Dr Thompsons care. He is caring.talented and you immediately feel safe in his care. Would recomend to anyone,
