A judgmental doctor that has no intention of helping if you come in with certain issues. Dr. Tyceer Abouhassan did not want to help me because his view was that I caused the issues in my body. I did not wait months to have an appointment with you so that you could neglect me based off of your personal views. Furthermore, he carried a condescending attitude when I tried to discuss treatment options with him.

While we were speaking over the phone he was giving me some blood work results and he was throwing so many numbers and different letters and acronyms at me it was hard to follow. I told him “wait stop I’m confused” and he had the audacity to tell me to “listen and pay attention”. This was not very kind and it was certainly not professional.

Dr. Abouhassan provided me with the best doctor-patient experience. He is so knowledgeable but breaks concepts down so I can understand them alongside him. Him and his staff really do care about the patients and are very careful and compassionate. Dr goes above and beyond when it comes to service and experience!

Dr. Ty and Heather are a great team. Heather holds me accountable with regular reminders, I dont have a long wait to see Dr. TY because we always book out. I've been with him for at least 5 years and my healt has improved since the first appointment. Dr. Ty goes above and beyond and sonetime may give you the harsh truth if your not taking your health and treatment seriously. I have had nothing but a wonderful experience with this team of experts.

Dr Abouhassan is the WORSE doctor I have ever dealt with . From his cold harsh Demeanour to getting his receptionist to call you for the results. He has zero empathy and could care of your symptoms and struggles. GO TO A DIFFERENT ENDOCRINOLOGIST!!!

Endocrinology is the branch of physiology and medicine concerned with endocrine glands and hormones.

Unfortunately, Dr. Tyceer has the same level of understanding of hormones as a first year biology student.

I’m sure he is great at cookie cutter diabetic treatment or prescribing t3 when someone’s thyroid is in the gutter, but when it comes to anything else he is completely clueless.

According to Dr Tyceer, testosterone levels in a young man that rival those of an 80 year old man is “completely normal” despite many symptoms and obvious bloodwork saying otherwise.

Sad that doctors like this only care when you’re outside of the already generous lab ranges. For example the range for TSH in Canada is normally 0.5-5 uU/ml and anything inside this range is “normal”, when for the past 10 years many endocrinologists have studied that a TSH above 3 is often an indicator of Subclinical hypothyroid which could be treated WITHOUT T3 before it progresses.

But why would a doctor want to actually have to think to treat individual patients, when they can just wait until their thyroid or hormone levels are a complete mess so they can give you the standard by the book treatment they give to all other patients in the same situation.

But I’m sure if you are ALREADY diabetic or extremely hypo/hyper thyroid, dr tyceer will know exactly what to do!! LOL

Very disappointed I’ve been a long time patient of Dr Ty and was really happy in the beginning before he got so busy. But ever since his new staff and increase in patients/clients, I can never get an appointment sooner than 10 months out. I think it’s ridiculous to make your existing patient wait that long for an appointment. When my thyroid medication ran out, I had to see my family doctor for a refill. I will be finding a new doctor that isn’t taking on more patients than he can service.

Top notch! Bother Dr TY and Heather.

They both really care about the patients. I was lost my job and I could not afford the meds so Dr Ty said he would give samples. When I ran out I called and left a message. Heather called me back and then she met me at the office on her day off to give me more. These people really do care

5 stars to both Dr TY and Heather! They are both very nice..make you feel at ease! Last time I was there I was given a lab requisition to have completed just before my next appt. I lost it. When I called the office to see if I could stop by to pick another one up..Heather said no need to come in. She faxed it directly to the lab for me! Now that is SERVICE!!!
