I consulted Randi as I know she is a leader in her field. My Telehealth consult was challenging as she recommended an absolute boatload of supplements vs. creating a hierarchy of recommendations to ease into. If things suddenly improve, to what do I attribute it? I also didn't appreciate how short she was with me. She used a fake and sickeningly sweet tone during the consult but basically berated me for not filling out something that I overlooked. Meanwhile I spent a chunk of our consult giving her test info that, if I had been asked for when I filled out forms, I gladly would have handed over to her in advance. As a result of that, the rest of the appointment was rushed and I felt like more of her recommendations were rooted in self-reported symptoms vs. what the labs revealed. I felt rushed and moved along. The information provided to me via the portal was extremely disjointed. Her office could benefit from an overhaul of how they obtain information as well as how they relay it. The appointment recap soon the portal bounced around from date to date, and as such, I couldn't easily tell what portion of her notes were associated with a given appointment. Very confusing. Upon reach out to her office, the support staff person acted as if I was an interruption in her day when I posed questions; very short without any element of customer service. As much as I would like to benefit from Randi's know-how, I am so put off by the way I was treated that I hesitate to do so.

Randi is beyond knowledgable in her field. She helped me in one visit manage my hormones. We were having troubles getting pregnant and she started me on a personalized regiment and now we are expecting. As a mom of two already I thought being tired was par for the course and I found out it's not. She was able to dig deep into my health and noticed my thyroid was off. After starting her program I wake up refreshed (even pregnant!) And ready to take on the day.

The supplements I started were personalized for what my needs and labs showed I needed.

She took the time with me to learn about me, not just push me out like a number. My 45 minute follow up turned into an hour and a half as she really learned and explained my health.

My insurance covered labs, visit, and testing and my HSA covered my supplements.

5 star would recommend to my sister, mom, grandma and anyone who wants to get to the root not just a band aid.

Never on time, pushes supplements. Staff was nice however always had an excuse as to why she is late or why I need a new supplement.
$500 first lab, $500 first visit, and $500 follow ups, plus more for thyroid labs and care, plus my insurance didnt cover anything.

I was hopeful that this doctor was different. Someone that could help me with women issues, such as, hot flashes, mood swings, in addition to thyroid issues. I purchased the initial test kit ($550+) and 2 hour appointment ($400+). This cost did not include any thyroid tests, which I was told could be added at a later date (for additional cost). My 2 hour results appointment, started 15 minutes late, lasted about 30 minutes at which time Randi said she had to review my medical history and we'd talk again in 30 minutes. Please keep in mind, I filled out extensive paperwork (including medical history) on-line 3 weeks before my appointment. Pages and pages of questions requiring addresses, phone numbers, prescriptions, dosage, year started, surgeries, etc. I was happy to do this to get good results. The paperwork took me over an hour to complete. I expected Randi to be familiar with my medical history and review/comparison of my lab results before the call. I had set aside 2 full hours (as they requested) expecting we would need that time to discuss my results and plan forward. When I signed back on to the second half of my virtual appointment (again about 10 minutes late on Randi's part again), we spent the next 30 minutes reviewing what my history and test results showed followed by her proposed extensive treatment plan of vitamins, essential oils, supplements, estrogen creams and more, all of which were only provided through the Wise Woman Wellness vendor. An incredibly complicated dosing plan and very expensive. After I follow this plan for 6-8 weeks, I retest with the kit (another $500?) and follow up with another virtual appointment ($$$). Adjust and repeat. My head was spinning. There is no way I can afford this! And there is no guarantee it will even work! I told Randi I needed to process all of the information and recommendations and she said that was fine. That was in October and I have not heard anything from Randi or her staff since that day. No follow up phone call, email or anything. Needless to say, I did not proceed with Randi's recommended care plan due to the incredible expense and lack of guarantee. One thing Randi did mention, was that due to my thyroid symptoms and test results, I should consider being tested for Hashimoto's disease. I did a blood test for this with my doctor 2 weeks later and the test was completely normal.
This type of diagnosis/treatment plan may work for you but it will be expensive and not guaranteed (my insurance did not cover any of this). I was so excited to finally have found someone that would understand and have a way to treat "women issues" only to be disillusioned and out $1000.

I have been dealing with chronic pain and thyroid issues throughout my life. I knew it was time to take action - things were progressing in a downward spiral for me. I found Wise Woman Wellness while paging through the Pathways magazine and decided to check the establishment online. My first connection came via a webinar "Hormone Havoc." I connected with Randi immediately; I knew she was someone I could trust. I felt that if I pursued a relationship with WWW, things would start looking up for me. I soon found out that my decision to join forces with WWW was one of the best decisions I have made in my life. Since starting the program with WWW in January of this year, my symptoms have improved in a very short period of time. Everything relayed to me for treatment worked out as planned. I have a long way to go but I know, without a doubt, that I was meant to travel down this road with them. Better things are waiting on the horizon. Finally, I found someone who understands my concerns and addresses them with sincere care and concern.

While Randi’s treatment goals are admirable, results fall well short of those goals. The women in my wife’s family have a history of thyroid problems. She sought help from Randi for several years with poor results. Initially Randi seemed to focus on selling overpriced supplements. Later, thyroid medications were added. Over time my wife experienced several cycles of what seemed to be over adjustment of thyroid medication followed by under adjustment - the cure seemed to cause poorer health than the disease. Ultimately my wife’s pulse rate become chronically elevated and she did not feel Gun good health overall. My wife abandoned the course Randi had her on, her pulse rate returned to normal, and she is feeling better. She no longer sees Randi. There appears to be more art than science going on here so it Is a roll of the dice if prescribed course from Randi will help, be ineffective, or hurt. Be cautious.

After dealing with dermatologists since the age of 15 who weren’t able to make my painful pimples go away and then resorting to anti-depressants to get through college and land a job, I decided to face my health issues head on but doctors and nurses never seemed to be phased my complaints. When my mom first mentioned Wise Women Wellness, I thought it was an odd way to test hormones and different levels that I had never heard of, in my body. I was apprehensive. Could they really help me through drops of blood and saliva?
The care at Wise Women Wellness has turned my life upside right! At first, I was worried about all of the vitamins and supplements I would have to take because I was never very good at taking them. But as I sat and listened to Randi explain my test results, everything started to make sense. I really had to make a big commitment to the supplements but I also had to commit to wanting to feel and look better in order to improve my life.
With these supplements, I started feeling a difference in my body and mood after a month or so. Taking my supplements and other vitamins right away in the morning gave me energy and drive to go work out and my afternoon supplements helped me get through the latter half of the day.  I started to sleep better with no night sweats and I have lost 15 pounds – and counting – now that I am  motivated to work out.
Wise Women Wellness took the time to explain everything in terms I could understand and they genuinely care about me, my health and well-being!

She doesn't allow you to ask any questions or say more than yes or no in history intake, so even if she allows 2 1/2 hors for it, it's not accurate. Constipation can happen due to not enough water or fiber ingestion. She completely overlooked Epstein Barr diagnosis. She does not think of Lyme. She put me on 3 protocols at one time, should have started with adrenals. She did adjust my BHRT prescription to a safer one. She will not answer questions through her nurses for a prescription adjustment. She does not take into consideration patient brain fog in reading all the info at home. No one goes over anything before you at the clinic before you leave. If you have questions when you leave, you must come back and pay for the answer. I spent 1800.00 on tests and history and am off the NDT it was over prescribed and I was broke! STILL sick and now in worse fatigue! Worse symptoms! I would say the thyro flex is a waste of money. Try magnesium. Check 4 iron levels and zinc. She doesn't do much more than an endo for all of the hype. Go to Stop the Thyroid Madness first for better understanding and testing. You sit waiting for her a long time.
