Dr. Kucera is wonderful with preventative care and finding a more holistic way to deal with your medical issues. He takes his time with you and that is not common in the medical field anymore. The office staff is more than helpful anytime I need assistance.

At first he seems like the perfect doctor who takes the time to listen to your concerns. He SEEMS sincere and caring. But that extra time is going to cost you a lot of money & all he does to address your health concerns is draw blood work and when following up, makes very few helpful recommendations. So your health doesn't improve and when you return to his office with the same health concerns, he thinks you are complaining instead of being proactive. His entire office, including his nurse practitioner, is so busy that they have lost sight of what is important in caring for their patients. Rita at the front desk is an absolute nightmare--no care, no concern, no follow-through, negligent billing & coding mistakes. Also, my blood work was unnecessarily expensive because no one bothered to tell me how they could save you a lot of money by choosing one lab over another. To sum: "Your liver and kidney functions aren't looking good but we don't have time to discuss that right now."

Staff is not friendly at all. Never told me that they didn't take my insurance anymore even though I had been going there for a long time. Took the card, made a copy, took co-pay. Didn't tell me that they charge more for appointments over 1/2hour. Ended up paying over $250 out of pocket for 45 minute appointment. Doctor is very nice and takes a lot of time with patients, which means he is usally not on time. He cares about his patients and their health. Rita at the front desk is extremely difficult to work with.
