This is a Dr. who really cares for his patients. He takes the time to listen and explain things carefully. He goes above and beyond what most physicians do. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for his expertise.

Dr. King is a good doctor who takes the time to listen to his patient. He explains all
options, including surgery and medication. He is a very conservative doctor who is not keen on surgery until all other options have been exhausted, and even then, he would refer his patient to a surgeon if that is truly what the patient desired.

Dr King was my Doctor for over 2 years dealing with chronic pain in my back due to several herniated discs. He walked me through all of my options and I really felt like he cared what I was going through. He has had back problems himself so I felt like he understood exactly what I was going through. When it came time to change my medication as it was no longer working he gave me all the information I needed and urged me to do some research myself so I fully understood what I was getting into before getting into stronger medication. I am a big guy and never once did he make me feel like that was all that he saw like so many other doctors. He was an amazing doctor and I would go back to him in a second.

Beware – he is skilled at chiropractic adjustments but has some significant shortcomings. One is that he is poor at providing information on possible drug side effects – I ended up in a hospital due to an almost complete lack of information. Also, he seems to let his ego get in the way of patient care. I was his patient for multiple years and he occasionally commented that I was a great patient – I believe he said that as I was conscientious about strictly following his orders. Yet, when I suggested that I wanted to get a second opinion he suddenly and without explanation fired me as a patient. The second opinion I sought and received from another doctor (including tests that Dr. King had never run) showed some significant “misses” by Dr. King.
