Because of my medical history, I have consulted a variety of doctors over the years but none have been as impressive as Dr Chenoweth. He has always been conscientious, careful and thorough; with an obvious commitment to practising consistently excellent, up to date medicine with a sensitive and caring approach. I have never been disappointed in the level of care that I have received.

This elderly gynaecologist only has two or three years left in him and his primary goal is to make as much money off you and the healthcare system before he retires to quiet obscurity in the western suburbs. (He told me he planned to work for ten more - rubbish!) He recommended a hysterectomy for me which I later found out was totally unnecessary (and I never had). He will try to make money out of you by requesting you undergo unnecessary but pricey extra procedures when you go to his rooms. He has a dedicated and wonderful secretary but does not grant her (or his patients) the respect of having private, dedicated rooms even though he would have the means at this stage of his career. Instead she must sit in a chicken coop situation alongside half a dozen other receptionists in these awful, very public rooms he shares with 20 other doctors from assorted professions! My advice is that if you are happy keep going but if you feel as I do go back to your GP and get another referral!

Dr Chenoweth is just wonderful. Obviously trips to this kind of doctor can be nerve racking and coupled with fertility issues, can be quite emotional. He made us feel so comfortable and was so friendly that any and all nerves quickly subsided. He's been a wealth of information and wonderful support during our tough time, we just wish he was still delivering babies as there'd be no contest as to who we would choose. We love him! Highly recommended!

Dr Chenoweth is quite simply one of those rare gems. His experience is vast, but the most wonderful thing about him is his bedside manner. He does everything he can to make you feel comfortable emotionally and physically at every stage of the consultation. You just can't go wrong with him and I would highly recommend him.

John is exceptional. He always takes time to explain and importantly asks questions about your overall health not just the current issue. He makes you feel that your health is the most important thing to him. I have never had a doctor who I feel more comfortable with or who I have more faith in.

He has treated me for cervical cancer, attended to several miscarriages and delivered my boy. I trust him, feel comfortable with him and think that he is the best doctor in the world. And he is a super nice man.

John is fantastic. He's friendly and answers any questions you have. Will go out of his way to assist. We used his services for IVF and will be again.
