Following the first visit, I didn't care for him at all. Our relationship did improve with each successive visit. He doesn't exactly exude warmth, but he's not a bad guy overall, once you get to know him.

Abysmal -- in less than 10 minutes he listened to my comments, offered a curt, dismissive diagnosis, and then spurned any questions I asked with a supercilious smile. "That's just my judgment," he repeated. "If you don't like it, you can see another psychiatrist." Refused to treat the condition I came with -- and, more egregiously, refused to explain himself. For the amount I paid, even with insurance, he was siphoning off about $2.50 a minute from my wallet, and yet he seemed to take offense to the notion that I would do anything but immediately swallow any prescription he might offer with complete, unblinking deference. The worst kind of psychiatrist -- either lazy, incompetent, or less likely, just plain wicked.
