Always runs very late. 30-60 minutes. Dismissive attitude and completely incapable of making any diagnosis. Overall, a complete waste of time and money. Look elsewhere.

Was unfamiliar with my issues. Referred out. Waste of time and money. Uncaring.

I had been struggling to decide whether or not to move forward with a deviated septum surgery over the last couple of years and had gotten referrals from my primary care physician to learn more about my options. The two opinions were in stark contrast of each other and because of that I decided against further exploring how to improve my nasal breathing back in 2015. When I was introduced to Dr. Mettman through a mutual friend, she was very patient explaining the pro's and con's of the surgery. She was not quick to hastily recommend surgery as had happened in the past, but she recommended that we start with a gradual approach and therefore started with nasal sprays to see if surgery could be avoided. Only after trying that approach and not seeing any improvement did we discuss the next options that involved surgery to fix my deviated septum and trim my turbinates.

The surgery was successful and recovery went well, but I was most appreciative of the gradual approach to come to the conclusion that surgery was the right course of action for my health.

Thank you Dr. Mettman,

Paul Yazbeck

I went to Dr. Mettman to stop snoring. She gave me a steroid nasal wash. Within days I had a sinus infection. When I called in about the infection, I did not get a call back until me second call. Her nurse told me that I could not have a sinus infection and just why did I think I had one. Really? She told me I could come in (that cost was quite high) or I could go to my regular doctor . Well being Friday at 5pm when she called me back, I went to Medsprings. I had a horrible sinus infection. It has taken me in fact 3 weeks to recover, with 3 rounds of medication. I do not feel that she or her staff listens or cares for their patients. Very disappointed in customer service.

Dr. Mettman acted like I was interrupting her time. She was very short . I asked questions and she responded to me like I was stupid. Very unprofessional. She repeatedly scanned me up and down. When I asked questions she snubbed me. I will not be back. Complete waste of my time.

I love Dr. Mettman and her staff!! Always been kind and accomodating. Also, learned by asking, they are required to keep their front office window closed for privacy purposes, HIPAA law requires it so you can't hear them talking to other patients.

I had a much different experience when I saw Dr. Mettman twice after receiving a perforated eardrum from wrestling. I didn't have a very easy time with the staff, they absolutely love the divider separating themselves from waiting patients. I received no greeting upon entering despite a bell going off when someone enters. Also both times I had an exceptionally long wait. The first time I was seen an 90 minutes after my appointment, the second time with an appointment at 10:00 I was seen at 12:10. Not only did I wait a ridiculously long time, got hit with a battery of tests I said I didn't need, but was greeted by Dr. Mettman who after a millisecond of examining my ear said she couldn't do anything. She seemed irritated by my questions and at trying to explain how the ear functioned. I am still in pain, she said I didn't describe the pain well enough and if I ever figure out what is wrong I should come back...as if! Avoid, $600 worth of tests for 5 minutes of, "sorry can't help!"

I took my 3 1/2 year daughter to see Dr Mettman due to enlarged tonsils. Her pedi. At our first visit she took one look &asked how soon we could have surgery. She spent plenty of time answering questions, describing the surgery & reassuring the procedure was safe. She uses a newer approach to doing the tonsilectomy and adenoidectomy which is less painful (still a beast of a recovery tho!). We scheduled surgery that day for 3 weeks out. After we left the office I received a call saying they would like to move her surgery sooner due to her being so uncomfortable. The day of the surgery, it went as smooth as possible. Dr Mettman came out smiling &assured me all was great. Her office called that afternoon twice AND Dr Mettman called around 8pm to check in.. Now that is RARE!We had post op problems due to her refusing to drink but the Drs office walked us through it &had the emergency room aware when we had to go in.I love the whole staff! I trust00% & the staff rocks!
