Misdiagnosed a cancer growth as a hernia. No tests done - said they were not needed. Put my husband on a waiting list for hernia surgery. A trip to emergency 3 months later gave the cancer diagnosis. Stage 4 - he died.

Dr. Eddy is a highly competent, professional doctor. Always punctual, kind, and very patient. He cares about his patients snd always takes the time to understand your concerns. Excellent demeanour and bedside manor and always makes sure you understand any health recommendations, procedures or medications. I am 75 years old and feel very lucky to have a young professional doctor. Highly recommended.

I was fortunate to have seen Dr David Sparkes for 40 years. Dr Eddy was equally as fortunate to resume his practice. As years pass Dr E seemed to be less confident in his practices. I therefore lost confidence in him as a physician. Also makes up own mind with listening less and less to his patients. Demeanour seems dissatisfied in the past 1-2 years in his job. Have noticed a steady decline in past couple years since took over Dr Sparkes practice 10 years ago.The past is a good predictor of future behavior I would not recommend Dr Eddy as his listening skills have degraded and makes up his own mind and decisions with little concern or interest Or listening. Decreased in what his patients say with less consideration for his patients. No longer feel safe as his patient.
There are hundreds of drs in Calgary
Dr Sparkes would be disappointed I believe after knowing him well over 40 years
