Make sure to check his page on psychologytoday before you go. He was very helpful in regards to my social anxiety and asperger's. (and he does return calls, but it can take awhile because he's very busy!)

Shawn has been working my son and opposed our families values. He has completely undermined my relationship with my son....and has broken promises of confidentiality and I found him to be very unprofessional. I do not recommend him whatsoever.

Perhaps it was a bad fit, but I found Shawn Gewirtz to be unskilled in treatment of trauma from narcissistic abuse, with highly sensitive people, or people with sensory processing sensitivity, and to be in further need of training.

I've met many therapists at this point, but none whose intelligence, compassion, wisdom, and character I can commend as highly as Shawn Gewirtz'.
