Dr. Waters is a legend in his field but is clearly in the twilight of his career. That’s not necessarily a bad thing unless one stops keeping up with the literature and treatment innovations in the field. Unfortunately, my sense from working with Dr. waters is that he is coasting to retirement and not aware of or keeping up with treatment innovations, at least in couples therapy. For this reason, I can not recommend him as a couples therapist.

Basically, my experience with this doctor was overpriced, unhelpful, and frustrating. He is an expensive charlatan.
