It’s hard to find a doctor less caring . She is rude and condescending on top of seeming quite incompetent. She looked at my blood work and said that it would be a RA diagnosis but my x-rays weren’t bad enough. I was told by a specialist that but the time I was 40 that I would have at least one autoimmune diagnosis. I reminded her that I have had my toe joints broken and reset … so yes they look more normal than they did. I have a had autoimmune for almost 30 years. She did absolutely nothing but waste my time and money. Go to Cullman, Vanderbilt, or anywhere else to avoid her. You deserve better than this.

I looked up reviews for Dr Thomas due to having a horrible experiences with her. All the comments about her rude, uncaring attitude and rushing through appt not wanting you to talk or ask questions are true. Also true that she does not examine you even when you mention having pain in specific joints. The only time she has ever looked at anything, she put tons of hand sanitizer on and pretended to look at my hand. It is very obvious that she is trying to fill some kind of quota of visits due to her asking you to come back every few months only to rush you through again without asking questions or giving any advice. You are forced to return because she only gives medication for 3 months and will not refill unless you return. Like all the others, I don’t see how she has remained a doctor.

So detached. She does not take time to listen and she made me feel like I was contagious for having this illness. I told her that I had a knot on one of my joints and she told me to use wax when I get a manicure. WHAT?!?! It took my all not to slap some sense into her. I begged her to check to see if my medicine could be changed from 2 pills to 1 pill and she said to just do what I wanted to do and we will see how it works. And again - I wanted to slap the crap out of her. I simply left and found another doctor :-(

Dr. Thomas does not thoroughly examine patients and does not care or listen to patients. She comes in with a script of what she will say and doesn't want to hear anything else or look at any of your joints. If you ever need to change meds because something isn't working, she won't consider it. I'm not sure why she became a doctor; she should not work with people.

I would not recommend this doctor, did not listen, did not give me information, was rude and seemed ill with me and not sure why. Stayed in the room 5 mins, but tried to leave 3 times while I was talking. 1/10. I left the office crying. The staff on the other hand was very nice and helpful.

Horrible bedside manner. I’m just another number at her office. Waited for 30+mins for her to “talk” to me for 2 minutes. I’m in horrible pain and she doesn’t even care to check WHY. told me my pain was “mechanical”. Whatever that means. Listen to these reviews especially if you are in pain. Request another doctor at RANA. don’t let what she tells you (or doesn’t tell you) be the end all.

Fired her today 21 Oct 2020. Dr Christie Thomas should not have a medical license in any state! Did absolutely nothing to control my osteoporosis! This person does care about wellness! After reading other reviews I’m not sure how she still has a license!

Worst experience I have ever had! I was referred by Neurologist and she said " why are you here"? Did you read his notes and bloodwork? I have no idea of her knowledge except to refer me to a Hematoligist...
