I’ve waited for almost four months post op to write this review, because I hope to be comprehensive so I can help others who are also at the difficult crossroad of choosing a neurosurgeon.

In short, Dr Reddy has not only saved my life, but he has done so in a way that has also preserved my quality of life, by not leaving any post surgery deficits despite that having been a huge possibility.

I had a brain tumour that was too big for radio surgery, but also in a very difficult part of my head to operate on without causing damage to healthy tissues. Dr Reddy (and his surgical team) took his time to explain everything to me, he was so patient and detailed (I’ve come to learn that that’s simply the way he is all the time), to the point where I literally felt bad for taking up so much of his time. Even though my surgery was considered high risk I just believed Dr Reddy would do his very best to take care of me, to be meticulous without being overly aggressive. I was completely right. From pre-surgery consults to minutes before surgery, to post surgery as an inpatient as well now outpatient, he and his team have been there for me every step of the way.

I had a question today for him, decided to email and just three hours later I got a phone call from his office explaining why I might be experiencing what I’m experiencing. I am beyond blessed to have found Dr Reddy, I can’t recommend him highly enough, and he really is the most caring, kind, knowledgeable, skilful, intelligent, humble and thoughtful surgeon you will ever come across.

Dr Reddy is the most professional, caring neurosurgeon in Sydney. He has ALWAYS made himself available when needed. He listens & HEARS your concerns & acts appropriately. In my opinion Dr Reddy is 'THE BEST OF THE BEST' Thank you for everything.

Dr Reddy and his team are the best that you could ask for. I had 4 discs replaced in my neck and a week later 5 discs fused in my back. Dr Reddy organised my two operations a week apart because I live five and a half hours from Sydney. The two weeks I was in hospital Dr Reddy and/or his team checked in on me every day, even Saturday and Sundays. They organised all the support I needed for a full and fast recovery. Two days after my neck was done, I was walking 6000 steps a day. Three days after my back operation, I walked 800m unaided. I was pleasantly surprised when I took of the bandage on my neck to find I couldn't even see the scar, incredible! I could not recommend Dr Reddy and his team more highly and they continue to follow my recuperation with appointments 3 months after then another 3 months and a 12 month check in to come.

Dr Raj Reddy is very genius Neurosurgeon ! He were my second God , that’s my description of him , I thought was end of me when I diagnosed that tumour growth in my brain and also tumour touching my optical nerves i lost my sight on mu one eye ,I made 4 neurosurgeons to find out which the best treatment and which Dr should I go ,after many appointments with 4 different neurosurgeons , I decided to go with Dr Raj Reddy as I can feel and I can see his Sincere energy he was as person and was very clear his advices and calm to discuss about my urgent surgery, I was 100 % absorbs every word his explaining the the procedure , I was admired by his knowledge and established trust in moment so yes I wasn’t even take any second thought to go ahead do surgery by him , I thought I be having frozen face , or stroke, dementia, as I have to signed all those side effects form before under gone surgery, guess what , I got zero side effects, I gone back to work after 4 weeks brain and eye surgery by the best neurosurgeons in prince of whale hospital, I was prepared to have any of those scary side effects but thanks God ! I normal now and of course I have to do follow up treatment just to do MRI every 3 month then 6 month then one year , to monitor the tumour not growing but again ,thanks God ,5 years now ,tumour doesn’t grow .

Dr Reddy is a great surgeon and a great guy to deal with and I'm grateful for all the help he has given me. He did an outstanding job with my surgery which was a C6 fusion and C7 disc replacement. I highly recommend him.

My son was diagnosed at 17 months with IIH. I cannot speak more highly of Dr Reddy and his team. Also all the nurses and staff that assist at SCH. He has had a number of surgeries but everyone carefully planned. The patience and care he displays is second to none. Thank you.

Dr raj teddy is brilliant. Having been involved in a near fatal motorcycle accident 10yrs ago and having spinal surgery through another surgeon who's work was not done correctly I then found this great neuro surgeon. Extremely patient, dedicated to his cause, great bedside manner and a top bloke. Can't recommend enough.
